As a Nintendo of America Intern, you will actively contribute to meaningful projects, and gain valuable hands-on work experience with a leading company in the entertainment industry. During the program from June through August, your work experience will be enhanced with mentoring, networking opportunities and exposure to industry leaders from across the company! Whether you are in a technical or non-technical role, you will be a part of a team committed to putting smiles on faces of millions around the world.

Description Of Duties

  • Work with Nintendo’s Public Relations Team, which focuses on generating positive coverage around the Nintendo brand and its products, working on highly visible industry events and integrated marketing campaigns for games.
  • Responsibilities would include supporting the team in brainstorming and providing creative input on campaign tactics, contributing to the creation of select press materials, and shadowing or supporting event logistics.
  • Research how the gaming media landscape has evolved over the years to provide a fresh perspective on key trends and changes that can be applied to Nintendo public relations strategies
  • In addition, as part of the broader Communications Team, gain experience integrating PR with influencer, celebrity, and social media marketing around Nintendo products.

Summary Of Requirements

  • 3.0+ GPA
  • Juniors to graduating seniors enrolled in accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Project Management/Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Familiar with Project Management methodologies
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with social media and influencer marketing preferred
  • Strong writing skills
  • Understanding of Nintendo’s products is preferred but not necessary
