General Job Description

Equity Smart Home Loans is seeking an experienced, data-driven Marketing professional to expand our Marketing Department. You will be responsible for setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and scalable marketing strategy for our company. The Marketing Manager will lead the development of marketing strategy, campaign design, and perform market research.

If you’re a creative, goal-oriented professional, we would like you to be part of our team and share innovative ideas to achieve our targets. Ultimately, you should be able to increase our market share and ensure brand consistency.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Equity Smart’s Marketing Department
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with Equity Smart’s sales targets and business objectives
  • Perform any and all functions to test each marketing strategy effectively including customer outreach, social media postings, email campaigns, business development, landing page creation, and others.
  • Test a variety of marketing strategies including but not limited to digital advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing, give as a gift programs, social media strategy, press, influencer marketing and finding distribution channels.
  • Conduct regular tests for each channel to to determine viability and inform strategy
  • Analyze relevant sales and marketing metrics and report results to management
  • Keep a meticulous record of each test performed along with the results to influence further tests.
  • Adapt daily with new tests depending on previous results.
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
  • Manage Equity Smart’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Work with IT to improve and update Equity Smart’s website in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the creative environment by generating original concepts and copy that are distinctive and impactful.
  • Ensure brand consistency through all marketing channels, internally and externally
  • Use customer feedback to ensure client satisfaction
  • Facilitate/conduct performance evaluations, employee appraisals, and disciplinary action when necessary
  • Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

Desired Skills And Competencies

  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience leading a team
  • Hands-on experience with digital advertising to include and not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Blog posts.
  • Experience with building landing pages in programs like Unbounce, WordPress, Shopify and ClickFunnels.
  • Experience with high conversion and high engagement content creation - including social media, blog posts and videos
  • Experience with video editing preferred - not required but definitely an asset
  • Experience with managing marketing campaign budgets.
  • You are highly skilled and detail-oriented.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and increasing performance.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
