Do you love crafting compelling stories rooted in data and research? Can you drive strategy AND execute flawlessly, taking calculated risks to increase performance? We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Content Strategist to join our growing team.

As a Content Strategist at Aware, you will partner with our product marketing, demand/lead generation and design teams to identify and create content that resonates with our target audience, drives highly qualified leads and aligns with Aware’s product positioning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment where the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn is critical. We’re looking for someone who wants to get his or her hands dirty, someone who prefers not to ‘stay in your lane’, someone who is hungry to build and grow our company.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to constantly create results-driven campaigns and experiments to drive awareness, improve conversions, generate quality leads, retain customers and increase engagement
  • Simplify and communicate complex concepts, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and more
  • Develop brand voice to ensure consistency across all content assets
  • Partner closely with product marketing to align messaging for target personas
  • Work with internal and external collaborators and creative resources to deliver content assets that are coherent with our brand voice and strategy
  • Establish, track and advance the editorial calendar, and regularly measure and distill progress results to apply data-driven insights to future content strategies
  • Analyze keywords and SEO techniques, write effective SEO content across all paid, earned and owned platforms including blogs, websites, email drip campaigns, sponsored content and social media accounts
  • Build relationships with thought leaders and nurture brand awareness, while gathering knowledge of industry trends
  • Create content programs that increase product interest, awareness, engagement, and customer adoption
  • Oversee editorial calendars, analyze performance, and report to senior leadership regularly
  • Audit existing content and make recommendations for improvement in copy, layout/build, and rich media creation

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Content Strategy, Content Growth and SEO, ideally at a B2B SaaS company with a focus on AI/ML
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, communicating your strategy and vision, and driving execution of all tactics (including digital experimentation) to drive awareness, engagement, and product adoption
  • Experience working across several aspects of content, including influencer marketing, web, social media, email, webinars, etc
  • Strategic, analytical, and data-driven with the ability to leverage insights to inform content strategies and plans
  • Skilled at storytelling, writing and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles, for a variety of target audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Positive outlook, creative, and flexible
  • Remote is okay, prefer eastern or central time zones
