The Role

The Affiliate Manager is responsible for cultivating high-volume strategic partnerships that directly impact the company’s KPIs. This position’s primary function is to curate, communicate, manage, and track campaigns by coordinating omnichannel functions with all stakeholders within the company and partnership. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and passion for fantasy sports and igaming.

Day In The Life:

  • Proactively manage new affiliations with constant communication of new opportunities to drive conversions and engagement.
  • Monitor partners closely to ensure they are delivering on agreed-upon deliverables.
  • Expand the affiliate channel, grow existing partnerships and recruit new partners across all categories.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and prospects to form an extensive book of business that has access to our target audience.
  • Conduct ongoing tests with partners to optimize the success of each campaign and partnership.
  • Work with the Director of Affiliates, Affiliates Coordinator, and the MKF data team to manage, monitor, and track campaign success.
  • Coordinate unique promotions cross-channel to drive conversions efficiently and effectively through community engagement.
  • Strategize new opportunities that allow the department to achieve company and department-wide KPI goals.
  • Educate partners on digital marketing best practices.
  • Mentor collaborators within partner organizations to maximize production and the value of relationships from strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with creative, finance, marketing, and product teams to deliver unparalleled client support.
  • Collect and provide valuable feedback from clients and their communities to our internal teams, and contrariwise, to assist with the growth of the MKF brand.
  • Master the entire user journey to clearly explain and identify opportunities to achieve improved results and/or potential apertures that could result in the loss of conversions.
  • Assist the Affiliates Coordinator with the onboarding process through internal processes and software providers, including affiliate management, CRM, project management, and marketing tools that support client success.

Who you are/what you bring:

  • 3+ years of affiliate marketing and partnerships building experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Sound knowledge of fantasy sports and igaming
  • Digital marketing experience with an emphasis on copywriting, email marketing, social media marketing, and/or influencer marketing.
  • Account management, client success, or relations experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to unique circumstances.
  • Experience using affiliate software such as Income Access
  • Competent with Microsoft suite of programs, principally Microsoft Word and Excel.
