Compensation: $33,000 to $59,000 Annually

Summary:

The Player & Influencer Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and optimization of the Chicago Blackhawks’ Player Brand Marketing strategy with specific focus on Chicago Blackhawks Alumni. In this role, you will assisting in coordination and scheduling Blackhawks former players as well as assist with concierge services for current players, the execution of the player brand marketing strategy, the development of current player brands and assist in additional content campaigns. This role will also assist the Influencer Marketing Manager where needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Assist in coordination and scheduling of Blackhawks’ alumni appearances while serving as a strategic liaison between all departments, players and alumni to assure quality control and meaningful community and business connections are made in the best interest of the organization.

· Assist in concierge services for all current and ambassador needs.

· Assist with personal player and alumni requests as needed.

· Assist in the development and execution of player branding platforms.

· Track and evaluate performance of player branding platforms against marketing goals.

· Work with various Blackhawks departments to integrate player brand platforms across organization.

· Integrate appropriate and creative performance solutions to athletes’ platforms.

· Produce and coordinate engaging social media content with players via digital media management and publishing platform.

· Potential to lead other special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Degree in PR, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

· 1-3 years of experience working for a collegiate or professional team, with collegiate or professional athletes or other celebrity influencers in a team, corporate or agency setting.

· Interpersonal skills – listens to others, works well in a team environment

· Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

· Can prioritize work activities and use time efficiently

· Adaptability – adapts to change in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to handle frequent changes
