Overview
Movement Strategy is looking for a Contract Influencer Marketing Strategist with at least 3 years of social media and influencer marketing experience to join our Influencer Marketing team. This position will report directly to the Communications Director and will work on a variety of lifestyle, entertainment and consumer goods brands.
Movement Strategy is an independent social media agency. Now at its 13-year, with 100+ employees across offices, we produce groundbreaking content for partners including Netflix, Klarna, Amazon Prime Video, and Warner Bros.
A fast-growing team, Movement's Influencer Department leads all influencer marketing efforts at the agency. This department also has a strong foundation in traditional PR and offers client services such as b2b and b2c media relations, and brand strategy and positioning. Our team has a deep and passionate knowledge for entertainment, fashion, street culture, sports, technology, and consumer products, among others.
Responsibilities
The Influencer Marketing Strategist is responsible for supporting the Head of Influencer Marketing day-to-day on all client and internal communications, as well as lead strategy and executional campaign work for 1-2 clients. Client work ranges from start-up brands to global franchise brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Effectively develop a wide range of materials such as influencer strategy documents, influencer target lists, briefs and program recaps.
- Oversees the management of day-to-day client tasks in a timely manner.
- Conducts and manages as-needed research to recommend relevant influencers or content creators for client activations..
- Creates and manages the upkeep of influencer list of both talent representatives and direct relationships through industry networking and creating meaningful relationships with talent and reps.
- Manages execution of influencer relations for clients including partnership conversations, pricing and scope negotiations and creative development of content with influencers.
- Participates in internal briefings, creative brainstorms and client meetings.
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of full time or internship experience within the influencer marketing and social mediaspace. Agency experience is a plus. Consumer, lifestyle, fashion, fintech, and/or entertainment industry experience is a plus.
- Succinct communication skills—written and verbal.
- Proven experience in communicating and negotiations with talent reps and social media influencers. Experience in developing brand strategy a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with the evolving media landscape, social media, and emerging platforms of communication.
- Polished and professional demeanor; projects enthusiasm, confidence and collaboration towards clients and day-to-day work.
- Ability to work both in a self-directed and proactive nature, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented, energetic, atmosphere.
- Excellent organizational skill sets with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Demonstrates keen sense of responsibility, ownership and pride in delivering quality results.
- On top of the latest industry trends, and a constant desire to consume all forms of media in the appropriate fields.
