Job Responsibilities:

MERIT Beauty is looking for an Influencer Marketing Senior Manager to join our growing team in Los Angeles, CA. This role will report into the Director of Brand Marketing on the soon-to-launch MERIT Beauty brand. The Influencer Marketing Senior Manager will own and drive our strategy for our earned and paid influencer and brand ambassador programs.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the influencer landscape, have existing relationships with beauty and lifestyle content creators, and the ability to execute and analyze the results of full-scale campaigns. This role’s primary responsibility will be to create and manage an influencer program that drives social reach, engagement and referred sales through organic, paid and affiliate-based activities.

Job Duties:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of an inspiring and results-driven influencer program that powerfully articulates and amplifies our brand
  • Traffic and maintain all influencer content, ensuring usage rights and contracts are up to date an easily accessible by internal team members
  • Develop and execute influencer strategies and day-to-day activities, leveraging organic and paid tactics to drive meaningful awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Develop and manage an annual influencer roadmap, working across macro- and micro-influencers to support key brand moments and product launches
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine product focus for each campaign and ensure messaging & programming meet our KPI’s
  • Establish and maintain relationships within relevant influencers, championing the brand and values to drive authentic support
  • Recommend and manage influencer program assets, including seeding packaging, event integrations and in-office programs
  • Work with the marketing team to create content guidelines that allows for a certain level of creative freedom
  • Analyze, measure and report on influencer efforts, identifying and actioning opportunities for greater success
  • Manage contract negotiations with talent and managers/agencies, ensuring contract enforcement
  • Manage the influencer marketing budget, maximizing long-term ROI
  • Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of industry strategies and opportunities in influencer marketing
  • Evaluate and manage appropriate vendor platforms as applicable
  • Source and hire agencies to help manage influencers and campaigns when necessary

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience with Strategic Influencer Marketing / Influencer and Social Media Collaborations
  • Strong influencer knowledge and relationships across Mega, Macro and Micro influencers
  • Experience working in a start-up environment, with the ability to manage and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for beauty and skincare
