Data Scientist - Tiktok Ads/TCM Growth

Responsibilities
TikTok TCM team focuses on supporting all types of business owners and creators on the platform. We are looking for Data Scientist who can see beyond the numbers, apply technical expertise to influence the business strategy and provide insights to drive sustainable growth.
What You Will Do
- Identify and evaluate strengths and weaknesses in the ecosystem from different perspectives, including driving funnel conversion on the marketplace and opportunities sizing.
- Develop analytic framework in partnership with operation team to quantify business impact , diagnose marketplace issues and to bring insights using internal and external data
- A. Develop in-depth expertise on product user segmentations and build quantitative model to evaluate user (mostly) LTV value
- B. Standardize analytics to evaluate on-platform promotion performance across user segmentations, measure long term/short term user activation / engagement impact and quantify ROI
- C. Define KPIs and develop analytic framework to evaluate on-platform comm assets engagement and drive continuous UI/UX iterations via A/B testing
- Develop long-range business forecast models and run scenario analysis to understand the implications of a variety of business decisions on key metrics, share the insights with cross-functional team to influence strategic decisions
- Perform scientific measurements to assess the performances of business initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional to automate insight reporting and improve planning process;
- Work with growth team to develop growth strategy and drive customer acquisition and product adoption - 3+ years industry experience and advanced degree in quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on forecasting model and experience with business strategies planning is a plus
- Highly analytical with strong interpersonal skills, this is a role that interfaces internally, cross-functionally, with people of non-analytic saavy background
- Prior working experience in a marketing technology org is preferred, and deep knowledge of the influencer marketing landscape is a big plus.
- Fluency in core set of Data Science
- SQL/Hive, R/Python
- ETL
- Statistical modelling and testing
- Exceptional communications skills and can manage stakeholder priorities directly
- Proven ability with presentation and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Shinny, Excel and etc.
