As Biossance continues to grow through multiple channels, we are looking for a summer intern to join the Marketing team to support cross-channel initiatives in social, community relations, influencer marketing, public relations, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, beauty, and sustainability. To succeed in this role, one must be organized, detail-oriented, excellent researcher, a quick problem-solver, and a genuine advocate for the brand. This role will report to the Senior Global Brand Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support marketing team on cross-channel activities including, but not limited to:
  • Research and provide content opportunities focused on Biossance sustainability initiatives; collaborate with social and brand team to infuse in marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate needs of packaging, marketing and brand teams as it relates to sustainability messaging, packaging updates
  • Create decks and presentations as needed to share with internal/external partners
  • Coordinate with Biossance charitable partners (Oceana) on activations and partnership activations, including social content, loyalty program, events.
  • Help monitor, capture and track organic influencer mentions on Biossance social channels
  • Coordinate influencer and PR samples/mailers and maintain the PR gifting list.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and internal documents
  • Complete research project, focusing on Biossance’s sustainability strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing.
  • Language: Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency managing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Character: Detailed-oriented, ability to adapt to change, highly responsible, team-worker and willing to learn knowledge of marketing, communication & sustainability
