The Manager is responsible for leading a successful social media presence, and fan engagement strategy for Encore Nights and Encore Live platforms. The Manager will report to and partner with the Director of Marketing, and internal leadership to translate business needs into impactful, creative content across multiple integrated channels.

This role requires a masterful blend of analytical and intuitive skills, a good creative eye, an understanding of consumer insights, customer interaction, and the ability to execute compelling content that engages and excites live entertainment consumers. This role will contribute to the marketing strategy and planning process, from insights through measurable results, helping to shape how our brands come to life with our consumers.

This role is critical in ensuring we are positioned to meet the current and future demands of the company and how we connect with live entertainment consumers. This manager will need to be comfortable and experienced with all marketing communications channels and have a passion for building programs that connect with consumers and their lifestyles. As a part of day-to-day, this role will integrate data and insights to execute, create and deliver compelling content. This position will be responsible for elevating Encore’s creative/content output and informing the development of a fully integrated plan across owned, paid, shared, and earned channels. This position will also work closely with artist management to elevate and maintain artist brand initiatives when applicable.

The manager will be responsible for creating close, collaborative relationships with internal Encore and external artist marketing teams to drive change and create the adoption of the recommended approach. This person will also work closely with our external agency teams to keep them informed on our latest consumer insights, projects, and business goals.

This role will be specifically responsible for having a constant pulse on consumers and culture, bringing fresh thinking and perspectives to how, where, and when we can reach our current and future audiences. Measured outcomes will include consumer engagement, an increase in ticket sales, the efficiency and effectiveness of content and channels as well as additional business goals.

The ‘best fit’ candidate for this role will be intellectually curious and an excellent creatively driven communicator and have knowledge of social media buying, content strategy, and creative design. This person must thrive working as a change agent and be highly collaborative in nature. This role will report to the Director of Marketing and will be a member of a growing, integrated marketing team. This position is available to be fully remote.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identifies target audiences and builds audience strategy, relative to fan engagement and ticketing sales goals
  • Owns the full social media activation process, from strategy through real-time optimizations and lessons learned
  • Owns, creates and monitors content across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and other pertinent social platforms while identifying organic opportunities to engage with music fans on these channels and other platforms
  • Inspires ‘best in class’ ideas, aligned with each brand strategy, and delivers business impact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Ideally, 3+ years of marketing/activation related experience in communications planning, advertising, channel expertise (paid, owned, earned)
  • Passion for live music and connecting fans with live entertainment
  • Creative Design Experience (print and video) is a plus
  • Ability to work with key internal and external partners including marketing specialists, channel leads, agencies/partners, platform providers, and content creators. Must collaborate with subject matter experts and drive decisions to action
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
  • Experience writing for social media, digital video, email, and blog posts
  • Extraordinary attention to detail with an ability to quality check and approve written content
  • Passion for digital culture with an understanding of social media audiences and unique communication styles on each platform, specifically YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok and others
  • Knowledge of and passion for Influencer and online talent
  • Professional and personable personality with a passion for building lasting relationships
  • Proficient in Google tools including Google services (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and social environment
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively to produce multiple options simultaneously for uniquely different projects
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours, based on the needs of daily business operations
