What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a creative and trend-savvy Marketing Manager to create best-in-class content and community building strategies for Hungryroot’s brand channels across several key social platforms. As Hungryroot's Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all social content decisions, driving long-term strategy, and overseeing the execution of interactive content ideation, planning, production, and daily publishing. Apart from being a social media buff, you have a deep understanding of how to thoughtfully connect a brand’s ethos to its customers through social content, communication and influencers. Your work is focused on increasing brand awareness, ensuring a high brand perception and driving conversion across a variety of channels and touch points. In this role, you will develop and implement KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track success for all organic social and influencer efforts.

You will be joining a growing Marketing team responsible for providing the best possible customer experience and driving top-line acquisition and retention. We all fit within Hungryroot’s overall team of motivated, smart and kind teammates.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Own Hungryroot’s content and community strategy across all digital channels including Instagram, Facebook Groups, Community Ambassador program, TikTok, Twitter & Pinterest
  • Drive strategy, monthly planning, concepting, creative execution and publishing for Hungryroot’s social and content ecosystem
  • Oversee all social media content production, partnering closely with Creative team to brief, concept, and create content on a routine & campaign basis
  • Manage and monitor all ambassador/advocate programs, driving strategy and working closely with them to develop on-brand content that can be leveraged across all HR digital touchpoints
  • Manage influencer and brand partnership campaigns and plans including but not limited to contract negotiations, fees, content planning & feedback, deliverables, tracking & reporting.
  • Collaborate on a regular basis with the Performance team to uncover synergies between organic + paid efforts and experiment with new tactics that drive business (and brand) objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key cross-functional partners such as Product, Operations, Sales, and Culinary (among others) to align and drive overall business objectives and revenue.
  • Create and oversee social-first campaigns that increase talkability and brand awareness aligned with company values and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming trends and innovations in the social media landscape, particularly in the grocery delivery & meal kit space, and apply learnings/insights to strategy to ensure Hungryroot remains an innovative and relevant brand on social.
  • Define success metrics and analyze and report social channel and influencer activation performance to quantify the effectiveness of campaigns and drive scalable learnings.
  • Manage a team of two, providing guidance, support and career growth opportunities.

Why We Need You

  • You have 5+ years of experience in social media, content marketing and/or community management
  • You have a deep understanding of best practices and algorithms of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • You have at least 1 years' experience managing a team
  • You're a social media buff with pop culture orientation; you consume and enjoy social media as a user
  • You're a self-starter who thrives in a role where juggling multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment is the norm
  • You have strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals
  • You have experience with social operational tools like content management, publishing, and community management; experience specifically with Sprinklr, Sprout, & Wordpress a plus
