Teachers Federal Credit Union (Teachers FCU) is searching for a vice president, marketing. If you have 12 years of marketing experience in the financial services industry and are a hands-on collaborative leader, this job is for you. The vice president, marketing (VP Head of Marketing) directs and develops marketing policies and objectives. The VP Head of Marketing oversees market research and designs marketing plans for specific products, services, or business lines.

The VP Head of Marketing will have a significant impact on the credit union’s social media by creating a viral impact on various platforms. The VP Head of Marketing will use social media to engage individuals in and outside of the credit union industry by creating entertaining content that also provides tools, resources, and education for audience members to build better financial wellness. Teachers FCU wants to be the influencer on social media platforms and the VP Head of Marketing will be a significant, strategic partner in this effort. In addition to social media, the VP Head of Marketing oversees all communications including direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, signage, collateral, mass advertising (print, social, digital, TV, radio), event materials and employee communications to meet defined goals.

As the VP Head of Marketing, you will review changes in the marketplace and recommend marketing strategy to the top management. You will create, implement, and execute the marketing strategy and initiatives aligned with Teachers FCU strategic initiatives, and ensure the strategy and execution are aligned with growth goals, brand vision, value proposition, and member experience. You will analyze and report on marketing effectiveness, ensure all programs are implemented in full compliance with defined processes and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates must have 12 or more years of marketing and communications (brand, advertising, direct, digital, social media, branch merchandising and public relations) experience in financial services. At least 5 years as a marketing leader are required. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, specialized course study, or a certification program; top candidates will have a master’s Degree.
