THE ROLE

Description:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving national demand and usage of our art consulting and curating services. This new role will sit at the intersection of marketing, client success, and sales and represent the overarching voices of our clients.

Building cross-departmental relationships between those departments will be key in order to harness the knowledge and insights from the client-facing teams to maintain the integrity of our core solution messaging framework (including validation research & insights, persona development, value messaging, and market positioning). With the support of The Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will drive the overall marketing strategy, operational planning, as well as the execution of our sales enablement tools and sales value training. They will also lead our market segmentation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns as well as manage our proposal and RFP responses.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and can work remotely from any of the following metro areas: Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Atlanta, GA; and Charlotte, NC. We are headquartered in Denver, CO and are looking to expand our staff presence into our target markets. Our beautiful Seattle office, a houseboat on Portage Bay, is available for workspace or client meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Campaigns. Work in tandem with the sales/business development and marketing team to create and roll out industry-specific, targeted ABM campaigns to identified prospect accounts including market segmentation, account selection, and integration into HubSpot. These campaigns will strategically support sales motions and an overall multichannel marketing plan.
  • Solution Marketing Strategy & Planning. Manage the product marketing function, driving the company’s product marketing strategy, operational planning and execution.
  • Value Messaging. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and the studio team to continually derive insights on the pain points and challenges our placemaking services solve for clients, and translate those insights into market positioning and value/brand messaging framework leveraged across the organization.
  • Persona Development. Continually enhance our client, partner, and influencer personas in partnership with the go-to-market and curatorial teams.
  • Solution Communications. Create and manage solution releases and related communications to internal (sales, marketing, client success) and external (clients, partners, influencers)) constituents.
  • Sales Enablement & Training. Develop and manage sales enablement tools (sell sheets, website content, pitch decks, competitive summaries, customer stories, etc. ), to support sales cadence message optimization and solution-related sales training.
  • Proposals & RFPs. Manage the company’s proposal and RFP responses in tight collaboration with business development, client success, and the content and design teams. Own the proposal and RFP response process and timeline.
  • Travel. Travel as required to industry events and conferences – 10% of time.
  • DEIB. Incorporate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) goals into your work and annual performance goals, and demonstrate the values outlined in our paper, The Art of Representation.

No art knowledge or background is required for this role - we want our teams to have a diversity of industry experience.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in product or solution marketing.
  • Creative thinker with the drive and skill to execute with minimal direction
  • Self-starter who can manage their own projects and deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail and precise writing and presentation skills
  • Deep data analytics and data processing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-driven culture
  • Passion for building systems and processes from the ground up, oftentimes with limited existing structure
  • Flexibility and eagerness to be part of a rapidly growing and evolving company

KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Strategic thinker who can imagine the path to increase the company’s brand awareness and revenue through message development, marketing strategy and execution. You’ll need a self-motivated workstyle, with proven experience working remotely.
  • Creative communicator who knows how to tell stories that resonate with targeted buyers and persuade engagement and ultimately conversion.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to apply storytelling and modern technology to achieve sales results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication. Able to expand our brand awareness and deliver relevant communications to clients, prospects and employees that drive action.
  • Organization and analysis. Evaluate our current systems and optimize our processes and techniques with a data-driven approach
  • Calm under pressure. Maintains stable performance when under pressure or stress.

COMPENSATION:

Salary: Base pay of $75,000 to $85,000 with 5% bonus target , plus company benefits.
