Job Description

Are you a TikTok expert with exceptional writing skills who enjoys staying up to date with trends, pop culture, and news? If so, we would like to meet you! We are looking for someone to join our Social Media team who understands and can analyze TikTok analytics, drive strategy, and draft creative copy.

Our ideal TikTok Coordinator has exceptional oral and written communication skills. He or she can develop and execute engaging and unique content and has great customer service skills. This role will act as the voice of the Alani Nu brand and assist in management of content and community on TikTok.

Marketing Manager

Location:

Remote OR in the Kentucky office if located within commuting distance

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively report on ways to optimize our profile and content to suit the platform and our followers
  • Driving strategy, trend spotting, and suggesting concepts for our Creative team to execute on
  • Must understand the TikTok algorithm and stay up to date with all platform updates to optimize our videos for high engagement and visibility
  • Monitor and respond to DMs and comments in a timely manner
  • Respond to and engage with Creators who tag the brand in relevant content
  • Stay on top of social trends to share with the team
  • Weekly reporting – monitor and report on our performance & the performance of industry competitors to make necessary changes to grow our TikTok audience
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team regarding TikTok analytics, growth strategies, etc.
  • Ensure that communication and TikTok campaigns align with current marketing strategies
  • Ensure brand consistency by communicating with Marketing, Creative, Influencer/PR, and Customer Service teams
  • Ability to identify new influencers and monitor for upcoming content trends across TikTok and communicate findings accordingly

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of related work experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Experience working with a CPG or lifestyle brand is a plus
  • Proven brand management experience with various social media platforms, specifically TikTok
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with TikTok (Candidates should have an active presence on TikTok to be considered for the role)
  • Ability to adapt and pivot strategies to keep up with the ever-changing social world
  • Knowledge of online channels of marketing and marketing practices
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate well and actively work in a team environment
