Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Social media calendar planning and maintenance across multiple social accounts, including posting and scheduling through Sprout Social
- Assisting with social media community management
- Supporting content producers and editors when needed, i.e. content production scheduling and execution, including, at times, coordination with other events or partnerships, such as influencer marketing
- Maintaining a virtual filing system for all digital marketing content utilizing Dropbox, Asana, Google Drive and other digital storage tools
- Organizing & maintaining our idea content bank pulled from sources like Instagram, Facebook, Google, etc.
- Monitoring trending and reactive social media content in order to contribute strategically and creatively to social media content ideation and planning
- Researching, tracking, and logging relevant content for social media curation
- Copywriting skills are a huge plus, but a basic understanding of what works for each platform is also acceptable.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred
- Strong technical background with advanced computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Mac, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Google Drive
- Extremely strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for the social technology universe
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset that can thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Desired skills & experience
- 2-3+ years of professional experience in a marketing role, preferably in a social media B2C environment
- Knowledge of the entertainment, gaming, crypto & CPG industries
- Understanding and awareness around new and emerging platforms (like TikTok, Discord and Telegram) and platform features (Instagram Reels, YT Shorts, Twitter Circle, etc)
- Stays on top of the latest technologies, trends and innovations shaping our world, specifically Web 3 technologies and ideas
- Familiarity with Sprout Social
