Senior Manager, Organic & Paid Social Media Strategy
As our Senior Social Media Strategist, you will report to our Sr. Director of Social Media and be responsible for strategy, content management, execution of integrated social and digital media campaigns across all digital channels for our clients.
The role requires excellent project management and client relation skills, strong organic and paid social media strategy experience, a keen eye for compelling and sticky content (written and visual), and a passion for continuous analysis, testing and learning. This person will serve as a key social and digital strategist, helping to dream up new ways to share our clients’ stories across a whole host of digital and social channels. Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ year’s work experience in Social Media, Digital Marketing including both paid search and paid social
- Agency experience a big plus, but not a requirement
- Experience working in health, beauty, lifestyle and/or consumer products is a MUST! Understanding of how to market in regulated environment is a PLUS.
- You have experience managing campaigns at a variety of budget levels and can make informed recommendations on budget allocations both internally and to clients
- Must have solid strategy and analytical experience in actually managing and executing consumer and B2B social media, influencer and integrated marketing campaigns. Ability to act as an expert in all social platform capabilities and best practices – Google Ad Words, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Experience with and knowledge of short-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat
- Content development and distribution expertise spanning owned, earned, and paid digital channels
- Familiarity with back-end publishing and platform and analytics tools (i.e. FB insights, YouTube Analytics)
- Passion for using social media channels as a means to communicate with online audiences and deep understanding of what motivates people to engage with brands through various social media platforms.
- Creative, strategic and process-oriented with strong research skills
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and still be meticulous about the details
- You exhibit enthusiasm, passion, creativity and you enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in social/digital advertising and can translate these trends into meaningful recommendations
- Be willing to do the work, not just manage it. We thrive in a collaborative environment where anyone may be called upon to update a status report, write a brief or create a case study.
Responsibilities:
- Build, optimize and scale social & digital marketing campaigns to meet any and all marketing needs and initiatives (i.e. brand awareness, user generation, revenue optimization) for the agency and its clients including all relevant social media platforms.
- You will be a key contributor to developing social media plans and building effective relationships with all vendors
- You will assist in generating monthly, and quarterly performance reports to clients, and will require the ability to recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies.
- You will demonstrate highly organized campaign/timeline management, with a strong attention to detail including proofreading content and ensuring quality of message
- You will monitor quality, click through rates and conversion rates across accounts. Identify low performing ads and placements and make changes necessary to maximize on client KPIs
- Champion a test & learn culture by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, stay abreast of all best practices, and then act on this information.
- Partnership with the analytics team to help develop recaps and reports, extrapolating key findings and making them relatable and actionable and assist in crafting meaningful stories and insights for clients
