The Social Media Strategist will work with our Content Marketing Producer, as well as the branding and marketing team, to activate and humanize brands and build positive relationships with audiences. This new teammate will devise strategies for the brands we serve, develop content and messaging for social media and email channels, and then implement, test, track, optimize, and report on the results with a constant focus of improving KPIs. They will be directly engaged with clients and a valuable contributor and collaborator in advancing our award-winning branding and marketing work.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
- Fluencies as outlined
- Post-secondary studies or equivalent professional experience
- 1 or more years of agency experience
- Attention to detail and solid communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to perform as a seamless and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team
- Successful management of online communities, including customer engagement and service recovery
- Experience managing multiple brands/accounts simultaneously while delivering unique strategies and voices for each
- Keen understanding of how social media and content ties into and supports a multifaceted marketing strategy
- Ability to identify measurable campaign goals and objectives and relentlessly pursuing them
- A highly organized multitasker who can work independently and with internal teams and external contributors to meet objectives while consistently beating deadlines and staying on or under budget
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and juggle between multiple tasks/assignments

Roles + Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day social media activities
- Continued learning + professional development
- Conceive, implement, and optimize social media strategies for clients’ owned channels in partnership with creative and digital team leaders
- Create and manage the social media content calendar, working with other team members to ensure content is unified, on-brand, and accurate
- Identify, plan and create relevant content and messaging for each social media channel (visuals and narrative) based on these strategies in partnership with design and content development team members
- Champion the continued evolution and improvement of content creation and client success
- Identify influencers and facilitate/coordinate influencer-based initiatives
- Create daily original content (Instagram stories, social media feed posts, etc.) and produces social video (Reels, TikTok, etc.) and static content
- Own the ongoing evolution and presentation of Prismatic’s own social media presence
- Enforces the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brands we serve
- Collaborate with external contributors and manage deadlines as they relate to current and new campaigns
- Assisting with proposal development for new business objectives
- Attend occasional client events
- Attend meetings and presentations and lead when it relates to social media/content marketing related presentations
- Complete ongoing email, phone, and related communications and coordination to keep the client informed and engaged
- Field client requests, setting deadlines, and interfacing with clients by phone and email on reviews, approvals, and scheduling of ready-to-release content
- Perform community management on social media channels, including timely and accurate responses to audience posts and escalating, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders
- Funnels leads, inquiries, and support requests to appropriate channels/individuals
- Help shape, develop, implement, and measure Prismatic’s client engagement initiatives
- Identify measurable campaign goals and objectives and relentlessly pursue them
- Continuous testing and monitoring of KPIs across all channels to identify areas for improved optimization to maximize results
- Collaborate with team leaders on the development and presentation of performance reports, translating data into actionable insights
- Track time and coordinate with partners and team members to provide reporting on hours and costs accumulated
