About the role:
The Director of Marketing will elevate the Power Digital brand through strategic marketing to drive awareness and interest among key stakeholders, ranging from existing & prospective clients, partners, existing & future talent, press, analysts, sponsors, award publishers, PE firms, holding companies and industry groups.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full view of paid, owned and earned media strategies across the team, ensuring deep connectivity of activations across the company.
- Working with sales, develop a unified customer journey strategy (includes web strategy, CX flow, inbound lead plan [leads to be qualified by Marketing Manager])/all martech touchpoints and how existing and prospective customers will be engaged through our Marketing & Sales ecosystem.
- Evolve the brand position (brand guidelines) to represent a bold, people first, tech-enabled company with a fresh perspective––underlined by levity and smarts––across messaging, fonts and colors.
- Package and roll out brand guidelines across the company, and drive change management (Adoption, monitoring). * In partnership with external resources.
- Ensure the entire marketing team is driving forward key messages consistently through all channels across email, case studies, press, social, blogs, website, sales decks/pitches and beyond.
- Define what we are known for, how we message audiences (content strategy), where they will live (marketing and sales), and how they’re mobilized (across channels).
- In partnership with an SEO strategist, creative, webdev and CRO, develop an enhanced, lead-enabling website that is regularly assessed, optimized and made better (in phases).
- Drive bold, real time POVs in partnership with the team editor, working across channels to activate big ideas. The Marketing Director will focus on POVs from the company’s perspective vs the Communications leads who will drive thinking on behalf of Power Digital’s executives.
- Craft and execute an Analyst Relations approach to introduce Power Digital to target analysts for recognition in quadrants, waves, reports, keeping them apprised with case studies and POV’s to stay top of mind and be seen as leaders in growth. *In partnership with analyst specialists.
- Develop and drive a webinar strategy for Power Digital to effectively engage clients.
- Lead the charge to package major news/moments/results regularly (quantitative and qualitative) for share out with the exec team and for broader company visibility, in collaboration with all of marketing. This includes measuring Power Digital’s overall Share of Voice, with the Communications lead.
- Define and set up tools that will be used by marketing in partnership with the Communications Director (PM tools, media subscriptions, core data sources Power Digital needs to be a part of).
- After the marketing foundation is set, lead the charge for refreshed messaging/creative regularly.
- Once the team structure is set, define the early structure for our demand gen function.
- Lead special initiatives and support overall team management.
- Oversee Marketing Manager, Editor and Videographer and their respective initiatives, ensuring they are participating in additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in strategic marketing through execution, including storytelling, reporting and all other channels mentioned above.
- Experience working with clients at an agency or consulting firm.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects across workstreams.
- Passionate about marketing and energized to think big with the ability to mobilize big ideas into execution and measurement.
- Proactive go - getter.
- Thoughtful, inclusive, and strategic, goal-oriented mindset.
- Voracious reader of current events and news, with the ability to synthesize information and reframe what it is, why it matters, and how we can apply ideas to Power Digital.
- Ability to translate a point of view into a story for opportunities like webinars.
- A pulse on technology and communications to set up webinars and draw clients / prospects in (through executive sponsors and new business teams).
- People management experience.
