Role: Communications Specialist

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Remote – 7AM TO 4PM EASTCOAST TIMEZONE

Job Description:

· Will be working with teams overseas, early morning meetings.

· Preferably close to a CLIENT location if possible if ever needed to go into the office, but not a requirement.

· This team runs two global events per year internally for CLIENT.

· Looking for script writing – communications, understanding writing something to every level.

· This team takes the technical information and makes it consumable by internal audience of employees. They uncomplicate it.

· Training materials, news article, knowledge article, and video scripting.

· Manages or enables communications across the various internal and external influencer groups on the global, regional, or local level.

· May be focused on a particular solution or corporate topic or on a region or country.

· Core tasks: create visual communications, videos, and user trainings to promote strategic IT communication, feature releases, marketing initiatives, and user experience improvements.

· developing a cross-audience communications plan based on CLIENT business objectives and the Global Communications strategy and plan.

· managing relationships with one or more influencer groups.

· providing infrastructure, operational support, or other services that enable the communications functions across audiences.

· aligning with those responsible for different influencer groups and developing integrated activities. managing cross-audience communications events.

· developing and maintaining communication platforms

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

· As an IT Visual Communications Assistant, you will work with global Client Enablement organization to create visual communications, videos, and user trainings to promote strategic IT communication, feature releases, marketing initiatives, and user experience improvements.

· Our major goal is to enable our internal clients to utilize our IT services to increase their own productivity.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

· Find new innovative ways and visualizations to tell and sell our services and applications to our internal users.

· Develop ideas for improved storytelling

· Support IES Internal Training events through video creation, consulting, script writing and presenting topics live or in front of camera

· Translate technical processes into user consumable steps

· Visualize complex scenarios with pictures into simplified stories

· Postproduction of video and audio projects

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Excellent writing skills (Video scripts, E-Learning Training materials)

· Experience in design and layout (Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint)

· Experience in animation preferred (PowerPoint, After Effects)

· Experience in public speaking, presentation and delivery of training courses live or virtual preferred

· Computer skills: Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma

· 2 years university or equivalent (Marketing, Communications, IT or Media preferred)

· 2 years’ work experience in related field
