Talent Engagement Associate
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. We are a nonprofit that provides 24/7 life-saving support via phone, text, and chat crisis services. We also operate the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth and run innovative research, education, and advocacy programs. Overview of the role
The Talent Engagement Associate will be responsible for supporting The Trevor Project’s relationships and collaborations with our various celebrity supporters, ranging from A-list celebrities to digital influencers and emerging creators. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Engagement, this role will assist with identifying and securing relevant talent for events, owned initiatives, partner campaigns, email programs, and more in support of our key program areas. The Talent Engagement Associate will collaborate across our Marketing, Communications, Content, and Development teams to strategically incorporate talent into our work and connect with our key audiences.

What you’ll do
- Collaborate with the Communications and Talent team to identify, vet, and secure relevant talent for events, initiatives, and campaigns
- Stay up to date on news around the entertainment industry, social media and streaming platforms used by young people, and LGBTQ topics
- Track talent outreach, create wrap reports, and other written support as assigned
- Oversee the maintenance of a contact media database and exhibit proficiency with IMDB Pro and Influencer Intelligence
- Support logistics and prep for in-person talent events/shoots such as public service announcements and branded content
- Identify and engage emerging influencers, micro-influencers, and content creators who are popular with our youth audience
- Build and maintain relationships with talent, as well as their agencies and labels, to keep Trevor top-of-mind as a nonprofit partner
- Help the Senior Manager strategize and facilitate talent inclusion in our campaigns, including coordination, logistics, prep documents, social copy, and more
- Build internal relationships across our key program areas to identify how talent can support their goals
- Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned
