We are looking for a true marketer with experience in either a luxury brand or a premium consumer brand. Worked in a consumer facing company with DTC and or wholesale distribution. Candidates should have significant exposure to modern brand-building and marketing techniques, including digital, social media, strong knowledge in PR, influencer, collaborations/partnerships and events. Demonstrated success in multiple companies with a consistent track record of business building as a result of his/her marketing acumen is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, own and develop the branding, voice, creative and communications strategy for the brand; building on the brand story; developing the brand values. Be the steward of the brand voice and creative.
- Develop close working relationship with Founder to ensure alignment on a shared vision for the brand
- Create a branded website; communicating our brand story more effectively
- Obsessed with developing and telling brand and product stories who can implement performance marketing across all channels and mediums, guide strategic product development, and drive revenue growth
- Oversee and manage the CRM; Email marketing; increasing subscribership, e-mail segmentation strategy; flow emails to drive conversion, create branding, storytelling & learning vibe emails, develop a testing agenda
- Build out and launch marketing campaigns to generate awareness and engagement for the brand
- Manage performance-marketing activity across paid, owned and earned to deliver brand awareness and acquire new customers; manage paid agency strategy, spend, accountability and results. Optimizing Google search
- Manage, develop and oversee the social media strategy; building our community and creating opportunities for community engagement, sharing and feedback
- Own the PR strategy; executing with our agency; creating the story of a purpose driven brand. Developing a comprehensive PR strategy plan for our Founder.
- Develop & execute influencer/collaboration/partnership strategies
- Work closely with Product Development on packaging design and naming convention
- Build, manage, motivate, coach and develop the marketing team
- Partner with leadership to develop our forward-thinking company strategy and building a culture of cohesion and accountability
- Set, manage and achieve the marketing budget

- Depth of experience designing, copywriting, executing and testing digital/wholesale growth strategies
- Prior experience in a performance marketing at a high growth, DTC business
- Demonstrated capacity to take date-informed decisions, while balancing with creative and intuition
- Execute in the trenches and provide strategic leadership direction.

- Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing, creative, communications, social media, influencer, brand collaborations and marketing programs to advance the organization’s mission and goals.
- Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a marketing team.
- Demonstrated skill in proactively building relationships with partners.
- Excellent judgement and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
