Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Marketing Communication Associate to join our team at the U.S. headquarters office in Chatham, NJ.

IMC Toys US is the fastest growing subsidiary of IMC Toys S.A. based in Spain. The team is small and dynamic, made of self-starters that truly enjoy the start-up nature of the company.

Each day brings something new as IMC builds its foundation in the US and Canadian markets, setting the company up for future growth. Under the direction of the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Communication Coordinator performs a wide range of Marketing duties with a strong emphasis in eCommerce and Social Media/Influencer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Support all marketing activities including (but not limited to) social media, influencer relations, PR, development of eCommerce assets and enhanced content, media planning, trade marketing and trade show coordination;
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop impactful and integrated campaigns that build buzz while ensuring strategy and messaging are aligned with internal stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with IMC’s Spain HQ to brief, create, and execute best-in-class content for use across different channels including ecommerce, social media and PR;
  • Oversee planning and day-to-day activity for all US social media platforms including (but not limited to): Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn;
  • Develop and implement innovative 360 social and influencer marketing programs across social platforms with the goal of driving awareness and sales;
  • In partnership with the PR and Communications team, monitor social & influencer content, perform ROI analysis of all activity and campaigns and make recommendations for future direction. This also includes regularly analyzing competition and best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions – especially in new platform innovations within priority social channels;
  • Drive influencer outreach, negotiation and contract development. Identify and vet new and emerging influencers that align with IMC’s portfolio of brands and that can be scaled in the US and Canada;
  • Liaise with PR and communications team to grow our online audiences and execute promotions, partnerships and collaborations;
  • Work with PR team to manage and plan trade and influencer events, toy award submissions and to drive press and media coverage leading into key selling seasons;
  • Work closely with the Creative team to develop imagery, content copy (SEO) and other digital marketing assets;
  • Support sales in managing projects including (but not limited to): Selling tools such as visual line plans, marketing upfronts and retail presentations as well as distribution of images and copy for retail eCommerce sites;
  • Coordinate all content for US branded websites, ensuring information is updated accurately and on a timely basis;
  • Create and design an online brand store adhering to brand style guides and updated on a seasonal basis or as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field;
  • 2-3 years of experience running day-to-day social media or influencer marketing campaigns for a brand;
  • Thorough knowledge of top social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc);
  • Experience in the toy/children’s entertainment space highly preferred;
  • Exceptional written communication skills – Experience in SEM/SEO and e-commerce copywriting preferred;
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities;
  • Track record of steering and creating fun and original content and campaigns;
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively under pressure to meet changing deadlines;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
