Role & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to become an integral part of our Marketing team. As the Manager of Social Media & Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy for the brand that drives awareness and engagement across relevant social media platforms. A successful candidate for this role is a strong self-starter, strategic thinker, driven, and up-to-date on social media trends. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and will partner closely with Creative, Growth Marketing, Buying/Planning, and Customer Experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Social Strategy
    • Develop and drive integrated social media strategy and execute across all social platforms
    • Leverage data & insights to drive informed, cohesive social strategies across all channels
  • Organic Social
    • Work with the Director of Marketing to develop and oversee social content calendar in line with brand plans and goals
    • Manage organic social grid and stories
    • Ability to create, capture, and edit content on an ongoing basis- IE: TikTok, reels, static feed posts, stories etc. (alongside Graphic Designer as needed)
    • Own community management- responding to all DM’s, liking and commenting on all tagged content
  • Influencer Partnerships (Paid and Gifting)
    • Continue to develop our growing social community through gifting programs and paid partnerships
    • Lead the ideation, planning and execution of targeted influencer campaigns each month (both gifting and paid) in line with overall business plans and what is trending on social
    • Develop creative briefs and work with influencers to produce necessary content
    • Cultivate and maintain influencer community - actively identify and cultivate new influencers and support and foster long-term relationships with our existing influencer community
    • Create and track all Netsuite orders for all gifting
  • Business-to-Business Partnerships/Events
    • Seek out brand partnerships and ways to collaborate with like-minded brands
    • Support co-branded events
    • Support giveaways as you see fit
    • Attend all influencer events to capture content and engage with talent
  • Reporting
    • Report on influencer social media performance on a weekly basis to identify insights, establish and standardize KPIs and benchmarks
    • Continuously analyze channel performance and provide actionable insights on the effectiveness of various strategies for different channels

Qualifications And Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience, with at least 1 year of experience in managing a brand’s social media presence and influencer marketing campaigns
  • Influencer agency experience or PR experience is a plus!
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. You have experience creating and managing all social media content
  • Knows how to capture content natively within apps like Instagram and TikTok and is familiar with the specifications and nuances of social assets
  • Informed of the constantly changing social media landscape, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices, and emerging technologies and risks
  • Self-starter and “do whatever it takes” attitude
  • Dynamic and driven
  • Strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge of performance-based influencer marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Loves pop culture and sustainability a plus!
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced constantly changing digital environment
