WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Be a part of growing ION, Ayzenberg’s, Influencer Orchestration Network, a world class team who specializes in developing powerful, lasting relationships between industry-defining brands and influential content creators.
As Business Development, Executive you will help expand the portfolio of existing client relationships. The Business Development Director/Executive will be a key player in identifying new areas for growth for ION.
The role will require communication across functional teams and requires an individual who is proactive, has a stellar rolodex of contacts in the social media and content creation space, and is comfortable negotiating complex contract details.
- Identify and source new client opportunities globally for ION.
- Build senior-level relationships with potential clients interested in the influencer marketing space.
- Prepare and present proposals to internal management teams.
- Negotiate complex contracts while working cross-functionally with internal management, finance, legal, and product teams.
- Travel, as necessary, to both US and international locations, as a representative of ION.
- Develop new business through previous clients, existing relationships, introduction letters, presentations, and cold calls.
- Onboard relevant appropriate agency employees to execute the work once it is brought in.
- Recognize opportunities within the organization that present additional work and capabilities for project expansion with ION.
- Collaborate with the agency to conduct professional and information capabilities presentations to prospective clients for new business.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and production plans to meet client requirements.
- Responsible for communication with new clients generated, job specifications and schedules to make certain that commitments are being kept.
- Attend Seminars, trades shows and industry events as necessary to stay current with advancements in technology, design and sales techniques.
- Continue analysis of trends and marketing strategies that are being implemented by companies inside and outside our industry and clients industry.

WHAT YOU'LL (IDEALLY) BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Must have a passion for social media and experience in influencer marketing and content creation!
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Ideally 10+ years of experience in business development, in either the agency, influencer marketing and or social media space
- Deep rolodex of contacts within the content creation and influencer marketing industry
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Passionate, committed, self-starter with high level of initiative, energy, ownership, and urgency, with a sincere willingness to learn from global team members at all levels
- Team player with outstanding written and oral communication skills. Comfortable with handling ambiguity and collaborating across different functional teams and departments
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and takes initiative. Thinks creatively. Drives projects to completion. Insists on highest level of quality
- Not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the tactical work
- Analytical strategic thinker who is proficient with data and manipulating data sources to analyze business potential
- Experience working with a start-up environment
- Prior experience in Business Development
