Job Summary

Starpower is an entertainment marketing and pop culture strategy agency that counsels and connects brands with entertainment, sport, music, fashion and beauty Talent, Influencers and Content. You are a thought-leader and trusted advisor, you will lead Influencer marketing strategy development and campaign execution on behalf of starpower clients in the beauty, aesthetics, health & wellness categories.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop Influencer marketing strategies to meet client objectives (on a yearlong and campaign centric basis), establishing goals, timelines, and results.
  • Lead all aspects of execution of multi-pronged influencer campaigns, including Influencer identification, negotiation, contracting and campaign reporting/measurement
  • Maintain consistent knowledge of client, generating original ideas to amplify their efforts through influencer marketing and pop culture partnerships
  • Understand key competitors and their business strategies
  • Understand and provide thought leadership on cultural trends and issues
  • Identify and pitch new opportunities based on industry landscape to help drive organic client growth
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring quantity of work and timely client deliverables

Business of the Business

  • Ownership and accountability for revenue forecasting and recognition (Forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis)
  • Responsible for generating/negotiating new agency Scopes of Work for each Client engagement
  • Ensure that Pos are opened for each signed Scope of Work
  • Responsible for management of client budgets, including OOP and Influencer payments, ensuring that funds are in-house and payment are made on time and in accordance with Influencer contracts, in order to maintain positive relationships with Influencers and brand partners
  • Participate in client Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings, as applicable, including development of meeting agenda and content

General/Client Service

  • Lead client communications and sell in ideas from meeting prep to follow up to Q&A and revisions
  • Attend regularly scheduled and sporadic client conference calls
  • Attend in-person meetings with clients and agency partners
  • Participate in planning sessions from conceptualization to tissue session to final presentation
  • Participate in business pitches, presentations to clients and prospective clients
  • Assist in the overall growth of the agency, including new business & networking

What You Should Have

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a role with experience driving influencer marketing
  • You are proactive & with an appetite for bringing fresh ideas and improvement processes to the table without being asked
  • A strategic mentality and deep knowledge in the influencer marketing space
  • Outstanding relationship building skills, proven track record to connect with clients and develop meaningful partnerships by encouraging confidence and trust
  • Proven track record to develop meaningful influencer relationships that results in authentic and persuasive storytelling
  • The ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams a must
  • Strong project management skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns
