Marketing Coordinator Marketing Assistant
Position Summary
Splendid is a women’s lifestyle brand with a meaningful mission to uplift women to feel their best through clothing.
The Splendid Marketing team is searching for a Marketing Coordinator to support the department’s initiatives. This is a unique role that works in each area of the department, and has opportunities to learn and lead. The role will assist with the development and implementation of all marketing initiatives for Splendid and Sundown. The Marketing Coordinator should be motivated, detail-oriented and eager to learn. We’re a team of hard-working optimists, so this person should also be solutions oriented and in general have a wonderful attitude to add to our special culture.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Production
· Work cross functionally with merchandising, creative, and e-commerce to coordinate monthly photoshoots including product delivery, model casting, updating master shot sheet, post-production schedules, and creative concepting
· Coordinate seasonal samples across all categories, ensuring Splendid has accurate samples on time to meet deliverables
· Coordinate sample and image delivery of ghost mannequin and flat images, working with 3rd party creative partners and Ecom Art Director
· Act as the key point person between design + marketing for sample management
· Help produce campaign and e-commerce photoshoots from pre-production through post-production, partnering with the producer, Ecom Art Director, and Art director to bring to life Splendid’s creative vision. This includes: requesting model packages, coordinating style outs, prepping props & product, managing the day’s schedule, giving retouching notes, building shot lists, and/or managing post-production schedule.
· Work with Marketing Manager in managing creative production budgets, processes, contract execution, and communications
· Act as a producer on sets without a 3rd party producer when needed
· Assist in managing relationships with 3rd party creative partners, including negotiation and execution
· Coordinate creative asset needs with wholesale, e-com, PR, merchandising and design for all channels
Project Management
· Help manage budgets & invoices on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis serving as the lead poc for accounting
· Help maintain annual marketing calendar
· Assist Art Director and Marketing Director with department project management
· Source vendors, place orders, and coordinate deliveries of marketing materials and items
· Concept creative ideas and contribute to overall department innovation
· Lead and assist on influencer and press initiatives
· Work with Sr Content Strategist to develop messaging on projects as needed
. Building reports and analyzing results and performance of Influencer Marketing activity to ensure the influencer activity achieves high engagement and results in sales, followers growth and brand respect and love
. Ideation and strategize brand activations and events that support growth plans in the US
. Ideate creative strategy and assist in creative production, including ad mockups and ad copy
. Placing PR + Influencer gifting orders, coordinating with the warehouse and logistics teams
Additional Marketing
· Help ideate out of the box strategies
· Assist on all partnerships
· Perform competitive research and reporting
· Assist Marketing Manager with store marketing and events
· Assist with task delegation for freelance partners
· Assist with social media platforms
· Assist with wholesale marketing initiatives
· Coordinate proofreading for various marketing projects
· Perform research for special projects
Required Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field
· 2+ marketing experience
· A self-starter with a genuine passion for Splendid
· An analytical thinker, intelligent, quick thinking, and a problem solver
· Creative, imaginative, and able to contribute strong ideas
· Strong understanding of best practices in digital and social media
· "Roll up your sleeves" attitude with a willingness to be very hands on
· Exceptional research and communication skills.
· Experience in consumer-driven businesses.
· Passion for creative and analytical projects
· The person must be a self starter and good at balancing multiple projects at once
