Executive Vice President, Strategy
The EVP, Strategy will provide consistently superior media strategies, ideas and marketplace solutions tailored to a dynamic and fast-paced client. This person will be responsible for leading a strategic vision that places Walmart at the forefront of the media, commerce and consumer landscape and will lead a team in the development, execution, and stewardship of integrated media plans that deliver against this vision.
The EVP effectively leverages experience, curiosity, knowledge, and skills to push fresh thinking while balancing client, agency, and team needs – both short- and long-term.
This position report directly to the President, Global Client Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the relationship between PubW and Walmart, with focus on delivering Media Strategy & Planning excellence; Member of PubW Executive Leadership Team in concert with Media Investment & Media Analytics leads.
- Master integrator, collaborator and influencer, working across internal disciplines, partner creative agencies and client stakeholders to enable full integration of media, data and creative, leading to innovative and business-driving customer experiences.
- Responsible for account oversight and developing, implementing and executing strategy to advance client’s business
- Brings thought-leadership and new perspective with deep understanding of omni-channel customer experience and ability to translate this to cross-channel campaign executions
- Directing and implementing the organizational structure aligned to both long-range planning and development of campaigns
- Act as a catalyst to spark curiosity and innovation within the team and across all client campaigns and initiatives.
- Lead point of accountability for the quality of our media product, ensuring that we are leading our clients to push boundaries, experiment in new areas, and take advantage of a quickly changing landscape.
- Lead staffing and SOW development and optimization on a going-basis to meet dynamic client needs.
- Identify opportunities to unlock and develop new business opportunities to expand and grow relationship with Walmart.
- Ensure that client receives full value from PubW relationship within the parameters of service/compensation agreement.
- Inspire and motivate a team, with relentless focus on possibilities, solutions, and individual development
Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ years of media experience with extensive planning knowledge, with significant experience within the Retail category or other similarly fast-paced sectors.
- Superior client service experience with proven ability to develop and deliver strategic leadership carried through to execution
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience across all media types
- Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to translate numbers into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables
- Excellent leadership ability to drive team to deliver results
