Culina Yogurt

Marketing Coordinator

Culina Yogurt
United States Remote ⚠ [Archived] No Longer Accepting Applicants

A little about Culina:

A few years ago, Erin Asaad (Founder & CEO) suddenly had to remove dairy, sugar and gluten (basically everything delicious) from her diet. At that time, there weren’t any clean non-dairy yogurt options out there – and what’s life without yogurt? Her obsession with cooking led to the creation of Culina, a coconut-based yogurt that was so good her friends kept stealing it from her fridge. Culina’s super thick, craft-fermented coconut yogurts are packed with billions of tummy friendly probiotics and sold nationwide in Whole Foods Market, Sprouts and Natural Grocers.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a personable, detail-oriented and organized Marketing Coordinator to lead interactions with our communities. Reporting into the Brand Manager, you’ll be the voice of the Culina brand, responsible for high-touch customer service and community interactions online and IRL. You’ll also be tasked with coordinating our influencer marketing program, events and tradeshows, as well as tracking of KPI’s to inform success of these efforts.

What you’ll do:

● Engage with our consumers across multiple touchpoints including email, social media and good old fashioned snail mail to make every person we interact with feel one-of-a-kind.

● Monitor and track quality issues, consumer insights or market intelligence through email and social listening, bringing visibility to the broader team of opportunities or challenges.

● Manage communications with influencers, brand and event partners to secure partnerships that will expand awareness of Culina through authentic community building.

● Coordinate the logistics of sending influencer and media kits for various marketing campaigns and new product launches.

● Manage the IRL event schedule, timelines and coordination of sending product and marketing collateral that will create a distinctly Culina experience.

● Curate Culina’s tradeshow presence, managing timelines, deliverables and coordinating logistics with the broader Culina team.

● Ideate ways to surprise and delight our community each and every day.

● Monitor and track KPI’s to demonstrate the impact of all marketing tactics.

● Manage coupon and swag inventories as well as budget.

● Drive internal and external engagement and enthusiasm for the Culina brand!

● Work from anywhere, though Austin is preferred.

What you’ll bring to the table:

● A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.

● 1-3 years of full-time experience in a communications role, ideally within CPG.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills that could win over anyone - even on their worst days.

● A stellar project management skill set with acute attention to detail – nothing gets missed on your watch.

● A to-do list so organized that even Marie Kondo couldn’t do it better.

● A passion for deliciously good and good-for-you foods. Spoon optional.

● An ability to pivot and adapt – changing the way America eats sometimes requires somersaults.

● A bias for action. You actively seek out inefficiencies and opportunities. Fixing leaky faucets, a plus.

● Kindness inside and out - a collaborative, team mentality that celebrates the “we” before the “me”.

● An innate desire to deliver beyond “good enough”. You hold yourself to the highest standards and you strive to improve others and yourself.

What we bring to the table:

● A passionate, high-growth team that is changing the way America eats!

● Work remotely; enjoy regular team offsites

● Competitive pay and benefits (Medica, Dental, Vision and regular team offsites)

● Professional development opportunities and a team dedicated to your growth

● Fun swag and deliciously, thick yogurt that is unbelievably dairy-free!

To apply please email your resume to [email protected] and include responses to the below questions:

● How many years of full-time experience do you have in a communications role?

● Are you active on social media and willing to engage at a limited capacity on weekends?

● Are you willing and able to travel to support events and tradeshows (25%)?
