The ideal Rare Beauty Social Media and Influencer Associate is obsessed with all things beauty, social media, influencers, and has a keen eye for emerging trends. This part-time position that will support our award-winning social and influencer team. The Social Media and Influencer Associate will assist in discovering new talent, daily community management, UGC DM management, and support the team with day-to-day functions. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, and loves a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a passion for connection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily community management across all social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter) with a focus on influencers, including DM responses and maintenance.
  • Source content across platforms and share trending content with PR team to capitalize on momentum
  • Assist social and PR team in pulling metrics for monthly reporting
  • Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives and strategies
  • Collaborate with cross functional departments on projects and assignments
  • Participate in team brainstorms to help develop new, creative ways to engage our client and capitalize on trends
  • Assist the social media and PR team with day-to-day functions, as needed
  • Help build targeted influencer list across a variety of vertical (beauty, lifestyle, gamers, fashion + more)
  • Conduct research and analysis on competitors and industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently in college or graduate school with a major in marketing, social media, business, communications, PR or related fields
  • Strong interest in beauty and lifestyle influencers is a plus
  • Previous work/internship experience a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of social media channels and platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Frequently moves product weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.
  • Frequently moves about inside the office to access storage rooms, office machinery, etc.
