The Opportunity:

Join the marketing team to help reinvigorate Stila Cosmetics, the authority in backstage beauty with a rich ~30 year history and innovative award-winning products, through a fresh, modern approach to fuel top of funnel approach and engage beauty aficionados worldwide.

The Role:

Social Media:

  • Oversee strategy and manage daily execution of content across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Assist in building platform specific strategy to engage consumers and drive brand awareness
  • Support the team in planning, generating, editing, and publishing engaging content daily
  • Craft channel-specific brand messaging, storytelling, and copy
  • Identify Influencers that align with our brand; build and nurture relationships
  • Responsible for Influencer content creation briefs and tracking deliverables
  • Refresh social media dashboard and help identify KPIs based on strategic goals and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate social media KPIs; recap performance weekly, monthly and ad hoc and make recommendations on forward plans based on the data
  • Suggest and implement new features and outside-the-box solutions to differentiate our brand
  • Community management: Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews and posts
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media
  • Collaborate and support other teams, such as Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure consistency in consumer messaging across all channels

Public Relations:

  • Guide efforts and support PR agency in building ongoing relationships with editors, key opinion leaders, Designers, models, and brand friends
  • Run weekly touch bases with PR agency
  • Partner with PR agency to develop short- and long-term outreach strategy
  • Organize and help execute Fashion Week activities including product, kits, MUAs, press, and social media deliverables
  • Key liaison between Global Beauty Director and Global Executive Director, Creative Artistry & Education and cross functional teams

Skills:

  • Proven work experience in full funnel initiatives across social media and digital channels
  • Knowledge of content and community management
  • Creative vision on assets, messaging, and processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute with excellence and urgency; multi-tasking skills
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Challenge traditional ways of thinking and come to the table with innovations for each project assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years experience in social media management and content creation strategy
  • Fluent in various platform capabilities and ability to make recommendations to achieve objectives
  • Analytical skills to track metrics and deliver social media reports
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Passion for Makeup, Fashion and digital lifestyle brands
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with eagerness to pilot new initiatives
  • Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and positive “can-do” attitude
  • Graphic design and/or typographic, design and production skills a plus
