Factory PR seeks a Coordinator to join its Tech + Innovation Division. The candidate should be an avid consumer of tech and business media, and have a strong desire for a career in tech and innovation. Some of our stellar client include Repreve, Viome, Metaphysic, Risa, Heyday, LNQ, and Havenly

The position calls for an organized and attention detailed publicist and relationship builder. The candidate will support—and be mentored by— an incredible team of publicists and strategists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and clip all press coverage and service to clients
  • Manage all calendars, meeting agendas, notes
  • Manage all sample trafficking and showroom inventory
  • Maintain current media lists + audit competitors and similar projects
  • Share relevant industry coverage with client team
  • Create reporting for all divisional clients including Coverage Books, weeklies (where applicable), monthlies and EOY
  • Cultivate relationships with editors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience, i.e. at an agency working in tech / corporate PR
  • Foundational knowledge of tech and business media practices
  • Experience working with startups and established brands
  • Incredible attention to detail in creating and formatting documents and professional communications
  • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients and colleagues
  • Strong work ethic and an insatiable desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Strong sense of collaboration and team spirit
  • High level of interest and proficiency in the evolving media landscape
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented, high-energy environment with a consistent positive attitude
  • Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in accordance with CDC guidelines
