Manager, Brand Experiences

The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of several accounts and programs as well as the individual performance of team members who report to them.
Responsibilities
- Account Management Work with UEG team members to develop comprehensive integrated marketing, promotion and event programs that include strategic planning and built-in metrics. Includes but is not limited to: Program/client research, Creative brief development, Brainstorm sessions (lead and participate), Development of production estimates, Support overall concept development
- Lead account management process including but not limited to: Contract development and negotiations (internal/external), Weekly status reports (internal/external), Ongoing budget and production timeline management, Vendor research, acquisition and management, Writing of decks, presentations etc., Program reporting/metrics/recap reports
- Develop necessary production documents including but not limited to: Production schedules, Run of Show documents, Vendor briefs Staff training documents, Key messaging documents
- Troubleshoot program issues developing solution-oriented plans
Product Capability and Development
- Understand clients’ marketing and business goals and strategies
- Understand key client industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and potential competition and general issues facing the industry
- Understand recent and projected financial performance
- Regular participation and contributions to account team meetings
- Overall supervision and responsibility for their set of accounts
- Understand audience research and tracking techniques and methodologies; use them to plan and evaluate client events
- Evaluate campaign results against objectives; use results to suggest improvements to client or team
- Understand and apply industry trends and insights to improve overall strategic approach and thinking for client work
Financial Management
- Responsible for planning, organization and client profitability including but not limited to: Program set-up within existing financial system, Day-to-day budget tracking, Vendor invoice/PO management , Track time (internal and external) , Manage/correct billing issues
- Create cost effective budgets for accounts
Business Development
- Grow network of industry clients and participate in relevant professional organizations and networking activities
- Support the new business process, including identifying new business opportunities and helping support the RFP response process
- Help pull together cross-discipline teams to provide clients and prospects with the most compelling team and proposal
- Grow accounts organically by introducing clients to relevant and new capabilities to advance their business goals
- Develop program case studies and assist with submitting agency work for awards and industry recognitions

Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience within the event marketing field and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in marketing, communications and/or advertising.
- Have significant experience working on social media/digital campaigns and knowledge of how they integrate into the larger marketing mix
- Must be an incredibly creative individual who is able to provide smart and strategic recommendations to their team and to clients for a particular program.
- Is responsible for overseeing multiple experiential programs; maintaining a high quality of account service and overall program execution.
- Must possess superior communication skills, be able to multi-task efficiently and be detail oriented.
- Have an overall understanding of the public relations field and a passion for the event marketing industry.
