About the Team
TikTok's North American Lifestyle & Education Content team serves the US and Canadian markets, the team is focused on delivering localized Lifestyle & Education strategies, Lifestyle & Education content partnerships, Lifestyle & Education partner performance optimization, and Lifestyle & Education partner project management. All of this to help deliver on our broader global commitment to understanding and championing the needs of our creators and communities while building a strong and trusted brand that celebrates the diversity of our users and & our platform.
The Cross functional (XFN) Operations Project Manager is the dedicated DRI for creator, Public figure and Publisher Projects. They will work in conjunction XFN teams to ideate, communicate updates, collect and analyze data and manage creator collaboration projects.
- Project manage XFN projects / elevation opportunities (incl. creator calendar) for TikTok Partners
- Work with XFN team to solicit creator and partner feedback to help inform product/XFN team decisions
- Project manage cross-functional projects and oversee operational execution with the goal of connecting TikTok’s creator and partner community with strategic partnerships across internal teams
- Evaluate and ensure that requested projects align with Content Partnership, partner and creator priorities
- Work with Content partnership and XFN teams to establish and develop an executable project plan
- Develop outreach communication for creators when necessary and frequently input outreach task requests in Asana and assign them to Growth Strategists, ensure follow through of completed tasks
- Work alongside Growth strategists to execute required Project tasks
- Work with Growth strategists to prepare creator/public figure/partner lists for XFN teams
- Optimize internal collaboration process for Creator Partnerships team along with project calendar to keep track of projects and progress
- Prepare weekly project status reports.
- Frequently checking in with DRI's (direct responsible individuals) and XFN leads to ensure that all operational teams are tracking to deadlines and milestones are being completed
- Conducted post project evaluation reports; identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Support e-commerce product roadmap and launch planning for creators/Public Figures/partners
- Project manage Live programming initiatives and ensure creators/Public Figures/partners are locked into assigned slots
Qualifications
- BA BS degree or equivalent practical experience 5+ years working experience in digital content, ideally at a top consumer tech or media company
- Understanding of the online creator talent influencer landscape, demonstrated experience working with creators and public figures on marketing campaigns and other projects
- Outstanding verbal written communication skills superior attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills
- A team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution oriented, able to work in a fast changing environment
- Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated interest and expertise in social trends and creating organic and branded content
