Senior Director, Brand Marketing
The Brand Collective is a full-service Branding/Web/Marketing/PR & Events Agency based in Miami with satellite offices in Los Angeles, specialized in working alongside hospitality and lifestyle brands and driven to create authentic brand experiences through creative design, digital strategy, influencer marketing, content development, social media and public relations. We are currently looking for a Senior Director of Brand Marketing to join our amazing team!
The Senior Director, Brand Marketing will deliver the agency's brand marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, build brand following and ultimately drive client retention. You will be responsible for creative brand development, overarching brand strategy, and translating messaging into integrated campaigns and activation across social, PR, influencers, partnerships and other key channels. You can quickly gain a strong understanding of the target markets’ behavior and lead with data first and leverage insights to create actionable plans for building a strong base of brand loyalists. You are a strategic thinker, and are not reliant on huge marketing budgets to achieve awareness, but are happy to think outside the box. You will also own the creative and content production process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the agency's overall brand strategy and roll out of strategy across teams.
- Directly supervise the Digital Marketing team and lead training workshops. Manage task/team assignments, support development plans, and monitor and review progress. Regularly evaluate workloads and ensure that resources meet our objectives.
- Own all aspects of the agency's brand and its implementation across channels, including social, content production, communication strategy, public relations, influencer marketing, events and partnerships.
- Provide creative direction, storytelling and visual identity to maintain brand integrity across all consumer touch points.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for all product launches and marketing campaigns alongside the teams.
- Own the cross-functional marketing calendar to deliver streamlined messages across email, social, and digital platforms.
- Oversee the organic strategy for social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and more) to drive engagement for brands.
- Serve as the brand lead to deliver performance-driven content marketing success across traditional ad channels and blog.
- Drive influencer marketing initiatives to deliver top quality UGC content and influencer engagement across key platforms.
- Be a thought leader, inspire and train marketing teams to integrate brand initiatives.
- Partner with the Branding, Digital, and Web teams to develop content that supports brand awareness and brand/product storytelling.
- Use customer insights and data to evaluate ongoing marketing success, informing future improvements and changes in the brand communication strategy.
- Own the brand marketing budget and internal agency marketing processes.
- Manage relationships with external sister/partner agencies
- Help build and develop a top performing marketing team as the agency scales.
Preferred Experience
- 7-10 years of related experience in marketing roles, agency experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in growing and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong cultural and interpersonal skills.
- Possess exceptional project management, problem solving and analytics skills.
- Ability to form a deep understanding of customer segments and how to connect with them through all forms of marketing content.
- Experience in working with development teams to build consensus and strategic alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
