J.P. Morgan is seeking a creative and data-driven content creator to tell compelling narratives for the brand's social media channels. The Content Creator role works closely with stakeholders across communications, marketing, content, and the various lines of business. This role reports to the head of social media content and creative, who oversees custom content creation (including graphic design, copywriting, and animation), livestreaming, and organic performance reporting.

The global social media team manages channel relationships, oversees organic and paid campaigns, drives innovation, protects the firm's reputation, and maintains the JPMorgan Chase and J.P. Morgan brand voice on social media across several lines of business. The team collaborates with functional groups across the firm to support the goals and objectives of all corporate and wholesale lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic, creative social content strategy and forward-looking editorial calendar.
  • Manage the organic social media content calendar.
  • Produce and write a wide variety of original content including graphics, short-form videos, and animations for organic and paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Partner closely with content strategists, marketers, and communicators across lines of business.
  • Keep a pulse on new and updated social media channels, trends, and proactively identify new and topical content ideas.
  • Prepare presentations for and participate in meetings with senior stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and manage stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn audio and video production elements including cameras, microphones, rigging, and lighting.
  • Livestreaming firm content across social media platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience working in social media
  • Experience developing social-first video content from ideation to execution
  • Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects
  • Figma experience a plus

Skills

  • Highly organized, creative, and collaborative thinker.
  • Passion for social media, storytelling, brand building, and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Deep knowledge of organic and paid capabilities on social platforms including, but not limited to: Sprinklr, Percolate, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.
  • Solutions and results-oriented, with ability to multi-task, prioritize actions and deadlines.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Team player with enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships in the firm across divisions and lines of business.
  • Confidence to pitch fresh ideas, think creatively, and identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
