Givebacks is on a mission to help people do good every day without doing extra. We are making the giving process more inclusive by empowering people to leverage their everyday spending to generate partner-funded donations every time they shop. Givebacks members can choose from over 1M participating causes from their local school or animal shelter, to national charitable organizations.

Givebacks is looking for an experienced Marketing Director to grow our marketing function. This person will lead the marketing strategy and execution, hiring and career development of the marketing team and deliver tangible impact aligned to company goals. This person should be a “jack of many trades, master of getting it done” with an expert ability in negotiating and managing a diverse set of priorities.

This position can be remote. Limited travel can be expected in the future when we collaborate in person.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the protector of the brand, brand story, and messaging, ensuring consistent verbal and visual identity used across the organization.
  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans in collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Craft and implement member acquisition strategies, executional plans and custom campaigns to drive activity throughout the funnel
  • Lead Givebacks lifecycle/CRM strategy, leveraging email, push, SMS, and in-app channels to activate, engage, and drive LTV of our user base.
  • Capture and package insights from marketing initiatives to improve product optimization at all stages of the customer journey (from landing pages, through activation, through conversion, retention, and winback), partnering with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute
  • Oversee all creative across copy and design, ensuring every touchpoint is consistent and on-brand
  • Identify and manage the tracking, measurement and reporting of critical marketing data and analysis, effectively communicating important insights across the company

What You Bring:

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing in all forms (CRM, digital advertising, email marketing, SEO, website design)
  • Strong preference towards a healthy balance in doing both executional work and leading strategy
  • Experience managing a team
  • Expert in lifecycle marketing, with working knowledge of Hubspot and Iterable
  • Experience building out and executing marketing strategies and executing plans for B2C brands
  • Experience and preference working in early stage start-ups
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Eastern or Central Time Zone
  • Proactive, data-informed and solutions-oriented
  • B/A or B/S Four Year College Degree

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience in partnership marketing (e.g., influencer, B2B)
  • Experience in growing B2B2C brands
  • Experience in non-profit technology / fundraising / social impact
  • Experience in cashback, affiliate, loyalty marketing programs
  • Design capabilities a huge plus
  • Masters Degree in Business or Communications / Marketing
