JOB DESCRIPTION

Nifty’s, the web3 platform that connects fans to what they love through NFT-powered collectibles, experiences, and rewards, is looking for a remote contractor with deep expertise in Tik Tok and short-form video content. This person will be responsible for ideating, creating, editing, and scheduling content for Nifty’s organic TikTok account, specific to our Game of Thrones: Build Your Realm program. The ideal candidate has a passion for creating short-form video content with a focus on engagement and growth. They are customer and community-savvy and can seamlessly navigate the nuances of the everchanging TikTok platform. They understand how to communicate big-picture ideas in easily digestible formats.

They will have creative ideas, understand platform trends, have great video editing skills, and have a positive attitude. You should be knowledgeable of the latest social trends and enjoy creating and experimenting with them in the app in unexpected ways that are also on brand.


RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pitch new short-form content for various Nifty’s owned channels such as IG Reels, and YouTube shorts with a focus on Tiktok
- Responsible for coming up with video concepts, filming all original video assets (mobile device is fine) and all editing
- Manage and grow the Nifty’s TikTok and YouTube Shorts account in support of Game of Thrones, Build Your Realm
- Engage with the TikTok and YouTube community in a way that is on-brand
Deliver 3-5x videos per week in collaboration with the Social Media Director.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in social media.
- High degree of accountability, adaptability, and multi-tasking working in a startup environment
- History of creating short-form content that performed well and drove attention whether for yourself or a brand
- Deep understanding of TikTok's ecosystem: trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates within entertainment and web3
- A passion and interest in creating compelling brand stories that are engaging
- Superior verbal, written, copy editing, and proofreading skills
- Comfortable with on-camera work
- Experience with native social media tools and content creation apps
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced business environment while working effectively and collaboratively with team members
