Sculpt is a social media agency for B2B brands. As an Associate Strategist, you’ll support strategic plans and tactics for established, “blue-check” clients, and play an active role in growing our influencer/creator marketing work.

Let’s get something out of the way: No, this is not a do-it-all social media manager role. Yes, we value those who have filled that role in the past. No, this is not an account manager role. Yes, we trust you to present to clients directly.

You will support our team with a full-cycle of strategy work, from the evaluation and audits of client social programs and platforms, to the development of foundational social media strategies, and the guidance of ongoing implementation.

A bit on you: “A strategic, curious, detailed, analytical, collaborative, doer…that’s very much online” — as described by coworkers. You can rattle off ten brands we should be following, and none of them would be Wendy’s. You’re endlessly curious about social media platforms, buyer behavior, and how brands grow with modern marketing. You’re a hoarder of great ideas, and a trier of new things. You are known for going deep down Reddit rabbit holes for the sake of audience clarity. You will give a 10-minute seminar on why the future of search is TikTok to anyone who will listen.

A bit on the role: You will support the social media strategy development for select clients, and support influencer marketing tactics for active campaigns. But you won’t be flying solo. You’ll be working closely with a strategist, client-facing engagement managers, copywriters, graphic designers, and media specialists to ensure flawless execution.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

  • Support the development of social media strategy presentations and campaign plans to achieve marketing targets
  • Provide research support for cross-channel marketing strategies and content/creative briefs for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Twitch, LinkedIn (and whatever’s next—remember Clubhouse?)
  • Conduct industry, social listening, and audience research to inform client strategies
  • Help analyze reporting data to determine how to improve underperforming social media campaigns and propose new content ideas and/or campaigns based off key learnings
  • Participate in ideation jams with engagement managers, community managers, paid and creative teams
  • Be a champion for better work and ideas aligned to trends, high-performing channel formats, KPIs, and whatever Chipotle just did on TikTok (kidding, kind of)
  • Assist our Strategist in managing the daily execution of influencer and advocate campaign marketing lifecycle, such as research, outreach, asset management and reporting.
  • Help improve processes and assist with internal playbooks

About your Team: The Strategy team works across our portfolio of clients, and covers all things Strategy and Influencer Marketing enablement. You will collaborate most with your Strategist, Influencer Marketing Specialists and Head of Strategy. You’re gonna love ‘em.

About your Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience within social media
  • Experience working with a large-scale and/or technical/B2B brand in a social media capacity
  • You can articulate exactly how social media marketing, if done well, helps engage audiences and decision makers, influences behavior, changes perception, and builds reputation
  • You have nitty gritty knowledge of the major social media channels, content formats, and paid platforms, and how to optimize all of the above for different objectives
  • You have experience compiling social listening data and reviewing competitors’ social media activities to inform social strategies
  • You are comfortable presenting your work, pitch ideas, and discuss plans with your internal team and clients
  • You’ve personally contributed to social media programs that got big results (Awareness, Engagement, Share of Voice or Revenue)
  • You’re a certified Google Docs, Sheets and Slides pro and comfortable working on assigned documents and decks with provided direction
  • You can effectively coordinate with remote team members and clients across time zones
  • You can manage multiple work streams, prioritize projects, and communicate progress under tight deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience in a brand or agency environment working with multiple integrated teams/clients
  • At least 1 year of experience ideating on influencer campaigns or collaborating with creators and influencers
