Project Manager

Position Reports to: Head of Commercialization, Ingredients
Description & Requirements:
· The Project manager role at AGT Foods is one-of-a-kind and requires a unique mix of organization, problem-solving, systems-savvy, and interpersonal skills.
· The ideal candidate has the flexibility, outgoing personality and collaboration skills needed to work cross-functionally with product development, business development, regulatory, operations, production team, as well as our customers.
· AGT projects are mainly related to plant-based products including but not limited to yellow peas, faba bean, chickpeas, pea protein concentrates and isolates, pea fiber, etc.
· This position will be the main point of contact to manage AGT’s Project Management software.
· Diligently administer projects and serve as the key point for internal communication this includes meeting invites, notes, and agendas, recording key decisions, dates & information in our project management software, monitor progress and follow-up on any issues or stalls with appropriate parties.
· Refer customer requests and inquiries to relevant internal team members and ensure prompt reply or acknowledgement
· Work with leadership team to identify projects and once approved, create projects on the software.
· Manage timeline for multiple projects.
· Manage milestones and assigned tasks to functional experts by updating and following up with project team members on a regular basis.
· Interact with customers on specific projects and work as a liaison between customers & internal team
· Connect granular tasks to longer-term strategic objectives.
· Prioritize in a time-crunched, fast-paced environment.
· Product development, technical knowledge as well as scale up experience within the Food and Beverage Industry are crucial.
· Having the awareness to proactively identify risks and then facilitate the team conversation to mitigate is a must. Confidence to raise your hand when you don't know something, something doesn't make sense, or you've got a potential solution is also key.
· Serve as the key liaison between leadership, engineers, and the client-facing team.
· Help smooth friction points throughout the company, to move and drive projects forward.
· Key influencer for project team members and stakeholders.
· Coordinate activities between Ops, Comm. & R&D for existing as well as new prod. Dev.
Qualification Requirements:
· B.S in Technical or Scientific field (Food Science preferred) with 5-7 years of experience in food manufacturing / product development (B2B experience preferred)
· Understanding of project management methodology • Mentality to drive for results. • Experience growing- building- and strengthening relationships • Exceptional Communication-Written and Presentation.
