TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consumer Marketing team leads the marketing strategy, tactics and audience engagement for all Nickelodeon series and movies.
This team is responsible for clearly defining network objectives, identifying target audiences, surfacing relevant insights, and developing a show positioning that guides the creation of all marketing pertaining to the show. The team also develops, coordinates, and executes custom marketing programs across on-air, off-channel, digital, social, and experiential, partnering with the lines of business to ensure cohesive campaigns.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consumer Marketing Coordinator will manage and execute strategic marketing plans to support Nickelodeon’s series. This role will also serve as an expert on Nick properties and will be consulted as part of the development of creative promotions related to the programs.
The Coordinator will be responsible for assisting team’s managers and directors with the following responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development and execution of off-channel paid media campaigns by creating briefs, delivery specifications, and assisting with the creative review of all campaign materials
- Coordinate promotional activities including: event activations, influencer partnerships, co-branded content productions and other consumer marketing initiatives (e.g. conventions, stunts, etc.)
- Track project schedules and budgets, assisting in carrying out tactical parts of marketing plans, archiving and tracking assets, and assisting in preparation of materials.
- Assist in the compilation and preparation of reports, budget, schedules and related marketing documentation
- Coordinate invoice submission, payment updates as requested by vendors
- Helps maintain, edits and update budget tracker with forecasted and actuals in excel and Airtable
- Create clean, informative one-sheets, presentations, recaps, calendars and documents for use in presentations to team members, show creators, and execs
- Be a champion for our consumer, our brand, and our properties to ensure that all work reflects kids’ point of view and maintains the integrity of our creative IP
- Identify and ideate successful approaches to innovative, cutting-edge marketing
- Write up and archive call notes (team status agenda, marketing kick offs, show unit briefs, brainstorms, cross-functional, small campaign group, int'l task force, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
- Experience in Entertainment/Television, Marketing/Advertising or Children’s media
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in Airtable is a plus

- Highly organized, creative and naturally inquisitive looking to consistently further their knowledge of the industry, audience and marketing landscape
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Strong skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
