Your Role

The Social Media Manager will manage O Positiv’s presence across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms). A typical day will include crafting posts & stories, planning & scheduling content, community management, and growing our followership. The ultimate objective is to increase O Positiv’s brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition across various social media channels.

We’re looking for someone creative and content-obsessed, with a positive, forward-thinking personality that’s consistent with the O Positiv brand. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work with multiple stakeholders, and can ensure all projects are executed within deadlines. As the Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for staying on top of industry trends and making data-informed decisions to deliver against sharp KPIs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.

The Social Media Manager reports to the Head of Brand and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand marketing efforts and develop our product and brand.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive organic growth for O Positiv’s organic social media accounts, primarily TikTok and Instagram
• Build and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts on all relevant social media platforms
• Lead community engagement on all social channels, fostering and managing UGC and influencer content to amplify
• Create, edit, and post engaging content, including graphics, videos, custom memes, and written copy, that drives engagement and conversion
• Collaborate with customer service team to engage questions from our followership
• Analyze data from social media platforms to identify and address areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure our social media strategy is integrated with other marketing efforts
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay up-to-date on the latest social media developments, industry improvements, best practices, new trends, and research
• Cover live events, partnerships, photoshoots and capture content for IG Stories, TikTok, etc
• Brainstorm, concept and pitch content that achieves goals and hits on real-time trends

Qualifications and Skills

Core competencies:

• Familiarity and comfort in front of the camera, as well as with sensitive women’s health areas like vaginal support and PMS
• Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box; Must be an idea generator
• Positive and easy-going attitude and stage presence
• Experience handling project management across lots of people
• Patience and diligence with creative people as they complete briefs
• Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, brand tone, and voice
• Deep knowledge of social media platforms (including emerging ones) and measurement tools; ability to use analytics to develop and evolve strategy
• Obsessed with creating video content for social media with the ability to quickly react to trends and create brand-appropriate content on the fly.

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Must have a minimum of THREE (3) years running social media for a startup and/or e-commerce business
• Experience using social media management tools such as, Sprout Social
• Photo and video editing skills
• Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $60-$80k commensurate with experience. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
