What you will be doing:

The Manager, PR & Influencer Marketing will manage the Drybar’s existing partnership portfolio, as well as strategize, develop, and onboard new partnerships and opportunities that achieve our goals and drive maximum value in our public relations and community management efforts. This position will lead all aspects of the partnership lifecycle, from sourcing new talent, coordinating efforts with PR agency, negotiating fair market contracts, holding partners accountable for deliverables, leading day to day relationships, driving activation, and evaluating data driven performance. The PR & Influencer Marketing Manager is a proactive, highly motivated individual with experience in and a passion for public relations, influencer marketing and community management. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day strategy and campaign execution for Drybar’s current and growing influencer, public relations, and relationship marketing programs.

The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in identifying and engaging influencers, supporting PR outreach programs, and project managing digital launches. You should have a deep-rooted interest in beauty and lifestyle with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced culture.


  • Develop strategies and tactics that authentically connect Drybar’s initiatives to our key consumers.
  • Develop, analyze, and recommend perspective new influencers, including launching a micro-influencer program.
  • Create an innovative outreach program for micro-influencers to drive conversation and brand awareness.
  • Work with outside agencies as need for PR and other brand building initiatives laddering up to expand Drybar’s reach with desired consumers.
  • Build a tiered strategy to connect Drybar with culturally relevant people.
  • Coordinate vetting and negotiate fair market compensation for new talent/vendors, digital assets, product placements and renewal contracts for existing partners.
  • Work closely with the social media manager, creative and PR agency to ensure standard methodologies, guidelines, and instructions to help guide influencers in producing content deliverables.
  • Handle, evaluate, and grow a robust brand awareness and influencer programs to ensure partners are on brand and delivering consistent and relevant messages.
  • Build a campaign deck per launch with content guidelines to ensure our channels are supported before, during and after every launch including benchmarks for performance and post analysis/debrief of outcomes.
  • Oversee scheduling of influencer content to ensure brand marketing campaigns are sufficiently supported and align with activity on drybar.com.
  • Lead the day to day relationships with existing and perspective portfolio of partners.
  • Develop close relationships with influencers to maintain a strong level of communication on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work closely with the social media manager, creative and PR agency to ensure standard processes, guidelines, and instructions to help guide influencers in producing content deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in a field of study (Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications).
  • 4 years’ experience developing and handling public relations, influencer marketing, brand events including brand awareness and acquisition.
  • 2-3 years’ expedience in influencer, social media, digital marketing, preferably with a retail, beauty, or fashion company.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective standard processes, KPIs, and emerging trends (Facebook, YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok etc.)
  • Build, implement, and scale influencer and brand awareness campaigns that have significant business impact and the ability to benchmark, track and report on the management of programs.
  • Master of MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with internet listening tools, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Prior experience working across social channels, with an emphasis on Facebook, YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Passion and experience with all faucets of social media, public relations, influencer marketing and events.
  • Experience building and delivering high brand engagement online marketing programs that acquire new customers through public relations, social media, and influencer programs.
  • Experience building brand awareness programs and spend forecast from the ground up.
  • Project management experience associated with social media, influencer and/or public relations.
  • Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, brand events experience associated with a national-level retailer.
  • Practiced in the basics of public relations, social media, influencer, and community management.
  • Understanding of retail industry and related retail channels.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills with added attention to details and deadlines.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis.
