About The Role
The hiring company's Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Associate, Media who can drive ambitious growth goals for the hiring company.
They are looking for a marketer who can help lead expansion efforts across paid social and sponsorships. The ideal candidate is rooted in data analytics, strategic critical thinking, and complex problem-solving. They can move from strategy to execution, managing large-scale paid channel investments, and implementing targeting, creative, and bid/budget management. They have the ability to operate independently across a dynamic funnel with limited oversight.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Media and sits on the Brand Growth Marketing Team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple paid social channels with considerable budget
- Lead channel implementation, experimentation, optimization, and reporting for paid social
- Support influencer marketing selection, creation, and review process
- Project manage deliverables and execution for sponsorships (physical & digital)
- Gather and synthesize data-based insights to enhance campaign performance
- Ideate and propose methodologies for testing
- Work across business lines including but not limited to; core/sell-direct, agent, and retail/exclusives
- Participate with agency and internal partners
- Contribute to creative development for social and sponsorships
- Digital social campaign set-up and optimization experience
- Analyze paid social media reporting
- Self-starter and ability to work proactively and autonomously
Skills Needed:
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in media on the marketing team or at an advertising agency
- Social media subject matter expert, demonstrated by continuously learning about media, monitoring trends, and developing a roadmap to execute new ideas
- Expert in Meta and TikTok
- Experience with project management of sponsorships; or desire to learn
- Analytical with the ability to communicate insights clearly and simply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across various departments (business operations, engineering/product, design)
- Able to communicate and work with brand team, creative teams, and media partners to ensure high quality and brand consistency
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and work under ambiguity
- People describe you as exceptionally strategic, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
Bonus Points if:
- General media planning & buying knowledge
- Experience managing self-serve platforms; Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn
- Experience with social management platforms: Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Brandbastion, etc.
- Experience working with Influencers
- Experience with social trafficking and tracking parameters
- Experience with ad technology platforms, tools, and measurement (multi-touch attribution experience is a plus)
- History of advancing digital media capabilities and performance for previous employers
- Experience with Excel, Mode, Amplitude, Tableau, and/or Snowflake
- Real Estate and/or Technology brand experience
- Experience working with MarTech teams
- Experience working with Creative & Design teams
- Cross-channel experience across brand and consideration goals
Location:
Remote - Remote roles in the US are available in all states EXCEPT Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, or any US Territories.
Salary Range
The pay range for most locations in the US is $70,400 - $118,800 annually.
In the SF Bay Area of California, Seattle, and New York City Metro area, is $88,000 - $132,000.
