Real Chemistry is looking for a Director, Entertainment and Influencer Marketing join our growing team!
starpower is a strategic, pop-culture-centric entertainment and influencer marketing agency that counsels and connects brands with entertainment, sport, music, fashion and beauty Talent, Influencers and Content. We have been recognized as the bridge between Hollywood and healthcare, given our expertise and experience identifying and partnering Celebrity Talent and Influencers with brands in the healthcare industry. starpower works with client across various industries, including but not limited to CPG, Health & Wellness, Financial Services and Beverage Alcohol/Spirits.
The Director, Entertainment and Influencer Marketing role is a thought-leader and trusted advisor, you will lead Celebrity and Influencer marketing strategy development and campaign execution on behalf of Real Chemistry clients in the health & wellness , CPG, beauty and financial institution categories.
This role is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.
What you’ll do:Account Leadership/Client Management:
- Spearhead client communications and actively participate in client calls and meetings.
- Play a pivotal role in business pitches and client presentations.
- Manage influencer and celebrity marketing campaigns across multiple accounts concurrently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Maintain consistent knowledge of clients and industry trends, providing thought leadership.
Talent Procurement + Campaign Management
- Lead the Celebrity and Influencer procurement process for brand partnerships against client brief, including talent needed for public relations, advertising, digital and influencer campaigns and experiential
- Includes leading internal talent casting/brainstorming sessions, conducting talent outreach to developed network of agents, managers, publicists
- Manage the vetting and background checks for prospective talent, including utilizing relevant tools/social media insights to assess brand fit
- Manage the development of client-facing materials, including scopes of work, formal offer letters, contracts and presentations
- Ability to negotiate Celebrity and Influencer partnerships from scope of work through to long form contract on behalf of brand and agency clients; includes liaising with internal business affairs and client legal teams .
- Manage talent services once campaign kicks off, including being the main liaison between talent and client/agency partner, driving the coordination of talent approvals for campaign materials, tracking talent services against agreement
- Monitor entertainment social media channels, digital news outlets, publications and broadcast channels for information relevant to clients in order to proactively provide updates, entertainment information and pitch talent led opportunities to brand, and ultimately lead negotiation to execution

What You Should Have
- 7+ years of client management and talent procurement/buying experience
- I deal candidate has talent agency/management experience, and experience using talent for public relations and advertising campaigns in the brand space
- Experience interacting with brands, agencies, athletes, influencers, celebrities, agents, managers and publicists
- Passion for the business of entertainment ( tv, sports, music, fashion and beauty)
- Strong knowledge of pop-culture, including celebrities, athletes, musicians, digital talent, etc.
- Ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, multi-tasker, a critical thinker, anticipates needs, has a sense of urgency, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is social media savvy and is detail oriented
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting / pitching toclients
- Knowledge of FTC guidelines
- Understanding of SAG and ability to work with signatories to confirm allocations and financial implication of allocations, manage budget and payment
- Bachelor’s degree; preferred if degree is in a relevant course of study; e.g. business administration, sports management, integrated marketing communications (marketing, PR, advertising)
Pay Range: $120,000 - 150,000
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
