This Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for helping lead the development, planning, and implementation of marketing campaigns for the Crate and Kids brand. As a primary point of contact across the Kids organization, this role requires an understanding of how to drive the business through marketing, a focus on customer-centric strategies, and an ability to manage the execution of complex omni-channel marketing campaigns.

This is a 3 day/week hybrid position based out of our Northbrook, IL Headquarters Office

A day in the life as an Associate Marketing Manager Crate and Kids...

  • Champion the Crate and Kids brand mission, vision, and promise across all channels
  • Ensure consistency of the customer experience throughout their lifespan with the brand
  • Manage day-to-day marketing activity working closely with cross-functional teams, including channel owners, agency partners and merchandising
  • Own the brand content calendar and manage cross-functional alignment between stakeholders
  • Collaborate with channel owners (e.g. e-commerce, paid media, email, social media) on seasonal and evergreen content planning that executes against marketing objectives
  • Lead campaign and content briefings including developing the brief and communicating objectives and deliverables clearly
  • Oversee creative development of all marketing materials to ensure flawless execution
  • Help develop and execute on best-in-class lifecycle marketing strategies for various customer segments, balancing both acquisition and retention efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end influencer partnerships, from concepting content angles to on-track production scheduling and flawless execution
  • Support omni-channel brand launches and collaborations with clear and consistent messaging and execution
  • Analyze performance metrics against organizational strategies and drive actionable insights across all marketing channels
  • Assist in planning the marketing budget to drive business and track progress against those plans
  • Track budgets and day-to-day invoicing for all owned projects
  • Innovate new methods to attract customers to the brand including emerging technology, non-traditional media strategies, and new techniques
  • Utilize data, both internal and external, to identify areas of improvement in order to grow market share

What You’ll Bring To The Table…

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective, cohesive omni-channel campaigns
  • Experience in a broad base of marketing vehicles such as email, paid media, and social
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills at both macro and micro levels
  • Solid project management expertise and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive experience writing and delivering content briefs
  • Highly collaborative and flexible team player
  • Resourceful problem solver with a drive for continual improvement
  • Understand customer needs and kids trends in order to develop long-term customer relationships

  • 4 years of relevant marketing experience; retail experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience in creating and managing creative development
  • Experience managing campaigns or creative development across multiple channels and stakeholders
