Director, Digital Strategy

At Mission North, we work with companies driving real change in the world through their innovative work. Our communications agency looks to hire dynamic professionals who want a career and work culture built around purpose and impact. We work with technology and life sciences companies at every stage: startups going to market, growth-stage companies, and established ones like Google and LinkedIn.

We are looking for a digital strategy and operations leader who knows B2B and B2C audiences, how to find them, and understands the role of digital and social media marketing in companies' larger narratives and storytelling.

What makes us Mission North?

  • We’re a down-to-earth team that knows how to have fun at work and outside the office
  • We believe in lifelong learning and personal growth
  • Recognizing employees for their hard work is deeply embedded in our culture
  • And we offer some pretty amazing perks

Mission North has a reputation for best-in-class earned media and editorial content. As we evolve toward a true PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned) model, we are hiring a Director of Digital Strategy to develop, launch, and optimize integrated communications campaigns that complement our current strengths. The Director of Digital Strategy will be a foundational member of our Integrated Communications team. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record designing, directing, and executing digital PR strategies for B2B and B2C brands.

We need a versatile practitioner who can partner with clients and internal teams to develop, activate, and execute digital strategy. This person must possess a firm understanding of data-driven, audience-centric, digitally integrated campaigns that drive business objectives and deliver desired outcomes for our clients. This person will build and execute campaigns that incorporate activities including online research and analytics, audience and influencer identification; channel strategy, organic and paid social, paid media, and sponsored content; influencer campaigns, SEO, content strategy, creative concepting; distribution via shared and owned platforms, community management, and have knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, tools, and techniques for measuring impact. In addition to technical skills, you have a proven track record of activating teams and teaching various approaches to digital strategy.

This person will support the Senior Director of Digital in leading the team's daily operations — from forecasting and monthly resource planning to project activation — as well as training and leading teams around the execution of creative content campaigns. They will work with our VP of Strategy to expand integrated thinking and capabilities across the organization and make a bigger impact on our clients.
