The Opportunity

Join IZEA's Client Development team as a Sales Leader/Managing Director for the Managed Sales team. IZEA is seeking a strategic, proactive and well regarded servant leader to lead a team of US based remote Client Partners.

Reporting to the Global Head of Growth, this role will require you to manage a team of Client Partners while focused on profitable revenue growth through organic business acquisition and expansion of existing brand relationships, via both direct and agency paths. You will support your team through the entire sales process to help qualify, ideate, negotiate and ultimately deliver outstanding experiences and results to our clients. You should also enjoy the operational side of the business and feel comfortable analyzing reports, data and converting this information into actionable recommendations for the business. In this role you will also be working closely with Client Strategy, Creator Partnership, Business Operations, and Campaign Management teams.

Leadership experience is required and work within the Creator Economy is preferred.

Your mission at IZEA

• Lead a team of 8-12 team members providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and productive change management to drive business activities to reach IZEA's goals.
• Offer mentorship and empower the team to excel in serving clients, collaborating closely with Global Head of Growth and other team leadership for talent development.
• Utilize salesforce.com for opportunity tracking, data & reporting, weekly sales progress & updates. Craft data driven stories, insights and recommendations.
• Build and support a continuous improvement culture in your day-to-day work ethos, including the hygiene of client information, budgeting, forecasting, and other goals.
• Foster positive relationships and cultivate a collaborative environment, upholding IZEA's mission, vision, and values.
• Use your expertise in social media, influencer marketing, product offering, pricing and competitive differences to help your team create compelling brand campaign proposals. Your strategic vision will link the right messaging and tactics to maximize value across Owned, Earned, and Paid channels.
• Represent the company at business functions, community events, industry training, client meetings and networking opportunities. Some travel will be required.
  
  

What You’ll Bring To IZEA

• Proven success in sales leadership, with a track record of achieving and exceeding strategic objectives within the media, marketing or influencer industry.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing teams remotely.
• Sales operations experience in managing weekly forecast, pipeline development, and quarter business review processes.
• Passionate about mentoring and developing current and future sales talent, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement within the sales team.
• Excellent communication skills balanced with high emotional intelligence, fostering relationships inside and outside the organization.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, maintain high throughput, and get things done.
• Agility in fast-changing, high-pressure environments, with a keen focus on maintaining sanity while capturing market opportunities.
• Superpower in simplifying complex concepts and language, emphasizing what matters most to clients and team members.
