Associate PR and Influencer Director
Job Summary:
The Associates PR & Influencer Director oversees marketing operations and assists employees in the performance of their job duties such as responding to inquiries, resolving issues or concerns. The Associates PR & Influencer Director has the primary objective of driving the vision for company and customer standards. The Associates PR & Influencer Director is accountable for shaping and delivering the business’s production in order to drive the overall performance of the department. The Associates PR & Influencer Director balances company and customer demands with delivery and execution. The Associates PR & Influencer Director ensures that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The PR & Influencer Senior Manager oversees cost effectiveness, productivity, and the provision of company and customer demands that nurture continuous improvement. The Associates PR & Influencer Director is responsible for implementing quality assurance principles and practices throughout the company.
Fast-growing Prestige Skincare Brand within the Marketing team. As a Associates PR & Influencer Director you will work closely with the CMO and President of Marketing to develop and implement the PR and influencer strategy for the USA, and CA plus other markets if needed. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key editors and influencers, contributing to the overall success of various PR, influencer and marketing initiatives and events. You’ll manage the social media/Influencer Manager, Influencer Assistant and Marketing & Samples Assistant.
Main Responsibilities
Press
- Lead the editorial and pitch strategy for Peace Out the brand, CEO and CMO
- Lead product launch PR strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists and stylists in the USA and CA plus other markets if needed.
- Proactively pitch brand stories, founder stories, product launches and events to secure high-impact media coverage.
- Work closely with the CMO to brief in press releases.
- Plan, deliver and measure the success of PR campaigns
- Set goals for the PR division and monitor the team's performance regularly.
- Craft compelling press releases, pitches, and other written materials that effectively communicate brand messages and storylines for global product launches, brand campaigns, FSS news & more; craft PR responses for international press Q+A submissions.
- Monitor media coverage and track PR campaign effectiveness, providing regular reports to internal stakeholders
- Create and actualize annual Global Communications calendar including launches, media relations, product storylines, strategic pitches, events, and partnerships.
Influencer Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for all influencers across the USA, CA and other markets if needed.
- Cultivate strong relationships with influencers and capture key information in the database. Identify and reach out to potential influencers to grow the influencer database, meeting monthly gifting targets per territory.
- Negotiate and manage partnerships, ensuring influencers authentically represent the brand in a way that resonates with our target audience.
- Lead and manage the PR & Influencer team, providing guidance and support to achieve team targets and objectives.
- Work with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure gifting strategy is aligned with overall product strategy.
- Follow-up with influencers when gifts have been delivered to ensure they received and that there are no issues.
- Develop key media partnerships to support our campaigns.
- Developing the brand to ensure our digital profile consistently reflect our values and proposition.
- Lead, manage, develop, and execute global PR & Influencers Strategies to maximize global press coverage, digital visibility, and positive consumer engagement.
- Build a team of influencer partners for the brand, manage communications, and coordinate with the rest of the marketing team to get maximum impact for their influencer campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with beauty editors, influencers, and industry professionals to secure media placements in relevant publications and platforms.
- Develop and drive press/influencer activations, content briefs & mailer ideation for launches/campaigns.
- Create highly engaging presentations on influencer strategies, insights & results for brand management meetings, global roundtables, and conferences.
- Develop and implement comprehensive integrated communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Assist in day-to-day seeding efforts including product send outs and influencer mailers.
- Own campaigns and influencer relationships throughout the entirety of their life cycles including talent identification, vetting, briefing, pitching, negotiations, content ideation, production, amplification, analytics and more.
Events
- Plan and execute brand events, launches and collaborations to enhance brand visibility. Working closely with CMO and Marketing President.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of events.
Affiliate
- Develop, implement, and optimize the affiliate marketing strategy to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue. Working closely with the Digital Media manager to execute strategy.
- Working closely with the Digital Media Manager to identify and recruit high-performing affiliate publishers and content creators aligned with Peace Out Skincare brand values.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications on strategy, and with Legal and Finance on contracts and new vendor onboarding.
Budget & Reporting
- Manage the Influencer Marketing budget and invoicing to ensure that resources are allocated effectively within budget and spend correctly recorded.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
- Oversee the budget for PR, social media, and influencer activities, ensuring cost-effective and impactful use of resources.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination decisions of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Establishes and oversees the adoption of the support department’s vision, goals and objectives at all levels.
- Provide leadership and direction to the entire department.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the luxury fashion industry.
