Summary Supergut is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Marketing to lead our Social & Influencer efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, a deep understanding of brand storytelling, cultural trends, and social media tools, and a proven track record building and growing in-house influencer programs. This role requires creative and strategic thinking, skilled negotiation, and dogged execution to drive real impact through effective always-on marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive social and influencer marketing strategy that aligns with Supergut’s business objectives, brand messages, and audience personas.
  • Deeply understand our products and customers, assess the competitive landscape, and stay on top of trends to produce highly engaging marcom that drives measurable impact for a growing omni-channel business.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with brand-aligned partners across the influencer strata – from macro influencers to micro creators and experts & key opinion leaders.
  • Track, analyze, and report social and influencer KPIs, turning data into insights and continually making optimizations that improve performance and efficiency.
  • Allocate time and resources effectively across partners, channels, agencies, and tools to maximize ROI across all initiatives.
  • Lead a team of social and influencer marketing support specialists, fostering an environment of creative and operational excellence.
  • Develop a social and influencer marketing stack built for speed and scale.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience building and managing social and influencer marketing programs in fast-paced environments, preferably in the nutrition CPG or health & wellness space.
  • Proven track record of growing brands’ social media presence and executing successful influencer marketing campaigns that drive both awareness and sales.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for Supergut’s products and mission, a deep understanding of our audience's preferences and behaviors, and the ability to connect the two.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnel analytics & KPIs, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with social and influencer marketing SaaS and project management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, Agorapulse, Aspire, Upfluence, Grin, etc.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a savvy for developing productive relationships with influencers, creators, agencies, and other partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and experience building and managing a team.
  • Impeccable taste, an eagle for the details, deep cultural savvy, and high emotional intelligence.
