Position: Manager of Influencer Engagement
The Manager of Influencer Engagement is a crucial role within Fanatics, tasked with the strategic development and execution of our influencer marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy, this position focuses on leveraging influential partnerships to enhance Fanatics' visibility and engagement across digital and physical platforms. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with key influencers, athletes, and content creators, aligning these collaborations with our broader brand strategy to drive brand awareness and fan loyalty globally. This role demands a creative and analytical approach to influencer campaigns, ensuring they not only captivate our audience but also contribute significantly to our brand's growth and engagement objectives. Through your leadership and expertise, you will amplify our brand's presence, fostering a deeper connection with our community and reinforcing Fanatics' position as a leader in sports merchandise and fan experiences.
Joining the dynamic Global Brand Team, the Manager of Influencer Engagement plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing Fanatics' influencer marketing strategy. This role is designed to deepen relationships with our global community of sports fans through strategic partnerships with influencers, athletes, and content creators across various platforms. As the Manager of Influencer Engagement, you will identify, recruit, and manage collaborations with key influencers to drive brand awareness, fan engagement, and loyalty. You will develop creative and impactful influencer campaigns that align with our brand's values and objectives, measuring and analyzing their effectiveness to ensure they meet our ambitious goals. By fostering strong, authentic relationships with influencers and leveraging their reach and relevance, you will amplify our brand's voice and presence globally. Your innovative strategies and campaigns will not only resonate with our audience but also contribute significantly to the growth and vibrancy of Fanatics' community, solidifying our standing as a frontrunner in the sports merchandise and fan engagement arena. Key Responsibilities:
- Influencer Strategy Execution: Implement and refine the influencer marketing strategy, aligning with the overarching brand strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, athletes, and content creators to amplify the brand's presence across digital and physical platforms.
- Partnership Development: Scout and secure strategic partnerships with key influencers, negotiating collaborations that align with Fanatics’ brand values and goals. Foster long-term relationships with influencers to ensure authentic and impactful brand representation.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the development, execution, and analysis of influencer campaigns from inception to conclusion, ensuring they meet strategic objectives. Coordinate with marketing and content teams to create compelling, on-brand content that resonates with our audience.
- Performance Analysis: Track, measure, and report on the performance of influencer campaigns, using defined metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness and ROI. Utilize insights to optimize future campaigns and strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand, Product, and Sales teams to ensure influencer campaigns are integrated and cohesive with overall brand initiatives and product launches. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments for the successful implementation of campaigns.
- Market and Trend Insights: Keep abreast of industry trends, influencer marketing innovations, and competitor strategies. Apply these insights to inform and enhance our influencer strategy, ensuring Fanatics remains a leader in fan engagement and brand affinity.
- Content Strategy Support: Assist in the development of content strategies that leverage influencer partnerships, ensuring content is engaging, on-brand, and drives fan interaction and loyalty.
- Team Engagement: Collaborate with the brand strategy team to contribute to a dynamic, innovative environment. Share knowledge and insights on influencer marketing trends and best practices to enhance team capabilities and brand outcomes.
- Influencer Network Expansion: Continuously explore and expand the network of influencers, seeking out new and diverse voices that can authentically connect with our global fan base and reflect our brand’s inclusive values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in influencer marketing, social media management, or a related field, with a strong portfolio of successful influencer campaigns and partnerships.
- In-depth knowledge of the influencer marketing ecosystem, including identification, engagement, and management of influencers across various platforms.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, with a keen understanding of how to leverage social media for brand growth and engagement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance data to drive strategy and optimize future initiatives.
- Creative and strategic mindset, capable of developing innovative approaches to influencer collaborations that align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of sports fan communities, with the ability to identify influencers who align with Fanatics’ brand values and audience interests.
